I really like this set up, I think the Thunders look perfect visually with that deck. The picture was taken well too with the light and shadows- great work!

I don't see 7.81 eagles too often.. skated a couple and liked the shape a lot. I seem to remember them being really short (31.3"), but AH lists it as having a 31.75" length: https://www.antiheroskateboards.com/

Anyone know if they changed the length or is it a typo?
[close]

They are still 31.3 Well the few I bought last Summer are anyways.

Thanks for confirming. I also skated mine with 147 hollow lights (and briefly with 5.2 v hollows). The 8" trucks were perfect imo. Makes me want to cop another but due to on and off ankle pain in my flicking foot it doesn't really make sense to setup a flip stick

Looks great!

I was just curious with your wheels being 47mm, how long will you keep them going for? When it comes to replacing them, will you go with 52mm again or find a smaller wheel to start with?

Can’t get any more NFGs unfortunately, the Wizard got a new job making batteries with lasers or some shit like that. I have several sets of Spitfire Lil Smokies ready to go, I also want to try the Lil Beatdowns. 52mms are fine but i like the way the 45-50 range feels

I'm super tempted about trying some lil smokies since they are on sale in a shop here so is really cheap but I've never skated small wheels. Probably not the best idea for slappy's

Cool, aesthetically I reckon your set up looks good with/suits small wheels. I think Venture lows look their best paired with sub 50mm wheels at least :)

Put a nasty horizontal stress crack in my last set up, so I’m back on my shaped game again.
I gripped this fucker up a while back but only just now got around to putting it to use.

I’ve also included a lickle gratuitous pan-ography for all you freaky ferrophilia fanatics.

BBS 8.87
Ace 55 Classics
Bones 56mm V6 X97a
Swiss 6
Pepper Galaxy Grip
Ace 1" Hollow Hardware/Shorty's lights nuts
Ace 1/8 riser
NB# 1010

Decided to try a longer WB (14.87 on this) after skating a bunch of Polar 9.0's (14.5 WB). The extra 3/8ths of WB plus 1/2" of overall length was frustrating at first but after adjusting my foot placement I really like it. I'm 6'3 so I figured scaling up my setup to something longer would help me feel more balanced and it seems to be working out. The biggest change was going to the 1010's after skating half cabs for a year and a half. It's a little jarring switching from 2 different styles of shoe but the extra support and cushioning is nice and losing some board feel wasn't as dramatic as I anticipated. One of the younger homies said that the 1010's are the official old head shoe and as I'm a couple months away from 30, I'm embracing it haha.

I like the shape, not too blunt and the nose and tail are fairly long (7.12/6.75). It's got a nice steep concave too.
