It's funny you say that, I (and all the homies) like the graphic too; I think the blk/red/green works better than the 8.5 orange/blue/green (which is also an amazing shape for you 8.5 riders).

The foy twin is a hybrid (to me anyway), especially after skating so many twins...crail twins feel the same (tho not as full). Habitat are BIG BOY noses, Quasi and dlx, mellow/wide tails, the two new cosmic SC twins (which seem to be phasing out fast) have long canoe noses, just gross. This foy (at least in the pic) leans towards a nose rather than a tail but when riding it 'it doesn't feel like either'

I found a cheap SC twin (the one twin from them I've not skated); hopefully it stacks up.

If you are on the fence about an 8.25 twin, I gotta say that this one is 'the one' and I've skated just about all the 8.25s out there (not the toymachine which also has a true 14.25 WB and long at 32") PLUS this is the rare breed with a larger than 14" WB so there's that if it matters to you.

Truth be told I'm still waiting for an 8.3 holy grail twin.

I'm on the SC 8.4 twin and I'm liking it a lot, wouldn't mind keeping a stack. The kicks aren't as pointy as I originally thought and the length at 32" with 14.25" WB is great with Venture Forged, easier to manage than the Habitat / AWS. The graphics are the biggest downside, I'll take the bland Habitat Apex graphic over the eagle / cat monstrosity.
Venture Truck Height:

5.0 & 5.2 LO
STANDARD - 1.88” - 47.75mm
FORGED - 1.85”- 46.99mm

5.0 ,5.2, 5.6, 5.8 & 6.1 HI
STANDARD - 2.09” - 53.09mm
FORGED - 2.04” - 51.82m

8.25 Easy Rider
8.5 Ventures
52mm F4 Conical Fulls
Pepper Galaxy, which I really dig

I can already tell I am going to like this setup. Hoping to take it to the curbs today on my lunch break.

Politic 8 flat mold with pepper grip, last time I use anything besides black magic.
Venture low 5.2 standard stock
Spitfire 50mm f4 classic

Board skates great just the graphic feels sticky. Had been skating a 8.25 with Indys standards. It's cool to not be that good so changing set ups doesn't affect me that much.

Lithe is new brand to me so I don't know for sure, but they might use similar idea. I forgot to mention that my deck also has slick bottom. All boards are handmade. It's local company which I want to support.

Ordered this deck a few months ago but put it on ice once I saw it was PS Stix wood. Decided to set it up in honor of the new TM video, but hated it for the 20 minutes I skated it. Had that ultra-flexible noodle feeling that you randomly get with PS boards.
TM Hoban 8.63

Got home and immediately swapped it out and had a fantastic session on it the next day. Long live BBS.
DLX shop board, "IV" stamp which is my favorite, and has a very cool subtle herringbone brick debossed pattern on the bottom ply. 8.75x32.62, 14.62wb
Ace AF1 Low 60s with hollow hangers
F4 99s 51mm
Quantum Atoms "ceramic hybrid"
Acer titanium 7/8 hardware
Pepper grip

That setup with the DLX board looks nice. What kind of Quantum bearings are you running?

Heroin Dead Reflections Symmetrical, 8.5”
Venture x Uprise, 5.8
Spitfire Radial Slims, 54mm, 101a
SKF Ishod
Thunder 7/8” Allen
Jessup

Everything is new except for bearings and bolts.

Had to go back through my emails to find the order details. They are Quantum Atoms, and apparently I've had them since 2021, still rolling great

Beautiful setup, but I think I would have a werewolf-like transformation into some horrible creature if I was forced to setup a fully fresh complete but use old bolts on it.

Trying to burn through my gently used decks. Gonna move soon and don’t want to take them with me. Same for shoes. So I set up an old SFF deck and decided to give these Forum 84s a try.

Tried my friend's AH Easy Rider 8.5" and then got the gear madness.

Anti Hero Easy Rider 8.38" x 32.25" 14.5" wheelbase
Independent Stage 4 146
Spitfire 56mm 93a Radials
Bones Super Reds Ceramics
MOB
Thunder 1" hardware

Feels really nice so far. Been kinda into flatter/mellower decks after I tried my other friend's Real 7.43" reissue.

Also the sticker on the plastic wrap leads here to those wondering what a "Easy Rider" is.

My holiday setup put together with stuff Inside lying around for whatever reason. Didn't wanted to have an unpleasant surprise on the airport because those Ryanair dicks.
- AH PP 8.5 that was barely skated, when putting it back I remembered why. I hated the shape.
- Jessup, can't go wrong there.
- Thunder 7/8 Phillips. Obviously I brought an Allen key with me so I had to find a shop that had screwdrivers. It was a flashback when I was 14.
- Ace AF-1 55. Did the switch to Thunders and sure these Aces are heavy af.
- Delfino G3 I got for cheap, so far they're decent.
- X99 V5 53mm that I love for street skating but I'm way too deep into Spitfire county and their lovely barking.
- 808 since I wanted to bring only 1 pair of shoes and I needed something skatebeable that I could walk the whole day. Yesterday we went to Gibraltar and walked a whooping total of 17K
