my bf lives 2 miles from SPoT so I HAD to partake in the Labor day sale yesterday.

9” shop deck
classic Ace 55s
58mm Spitfire 93s
Jessup.

Love the graphic! Looks like an advert poster for a rally in the 70’s or Early 80’s.
ACE 55 classics are such a versatile truck.

thank you! Such a fun graphic, I love anything offroad related so it was a no brainer for me. I absolutely agree about the classic 55’s too, great size!

Damn that's a wild shape. Super pointy and hyooge dimensions.

Posting mine, I've been changing things around a lot the last several months figuring out exactly what I like.

8" Foundation Glick (old) Pro Model - 14" WB
5.2 Venture V-Lights, forged plates
52mm Pig Prime 103a
Pig Prime Bearings
Pig 7/8 Allen Hardware, Pig Grip

I like the Ventures on 14" wheelbase, tried Slappy (standard) trucks and it just felt too unstable for me. I like the shape of this board, 7" nose and 6.75" tail, I've definitely learned one of the things I dislike is short stubby kicks.
I want to try a longer board (32" -> 32.25") still on a 14" WB, and at some point try a 14.25" WB. I want to see if I like having even longer kicks. I tried ordering a Snake Farm "Full" shape, but they sent one of their standard shapes (resembles Shape 1 from FA/Hockey, I'll still skate it but kind of kills my intentions with what I was going for).
Will try the Slappy Lows when they come out on a 14.25" WB.
First time trying Pig wheels and bearings, about a month on them so far and no complaints. I had some Spitfire bearings before this and after a couple months I had multiple bearings breaking the inner race, one bearing was about to pop and I'm really glad I noticed it before it let go in the middle of a session. I may give Spit bearings another chance later on, I'm curious to see if they hold up better without a spacer in the wheel(?) but kind of doubt it.

I only wear 7.5 shoes so 8" boards feel like a good size for me, I do want to try an 8.13" at some point but I won't go larger than that.

This set up looks really solid to me.
I've been using other wheels besides spitfire f4. Which i mostly rode since they came out. Pig is on my list to try next. But right now im happy on my Prize Fighter wheels... shout out to Ray!

Old one:
Polar 8.5 14.5 Wb
Venture 5.8
Bones stf 103 v1 (52 new, now about 49)
Random bearings

New one:
Deathwish for twin 8.5 14.27 Wb
Venture 5.8
Bones x99 52
Bones Swiss
Jessup Ultra

I’ve noticed that despite the listed WBS are different they look pretty damn similar to me.
And the Deathwish board is noticeably heavier when holding (skating doesn’t make a difference for me) than the polar (and the primitive twin nose) despite them being longer.
Love that whip!

Real 8.12, 32 L and 14.25 WB.
Indy forged Hollows 139.
Haze 52 mm.
Mob Grip.

Very surprised that this setup suits me because I have been in madness for a long time with lengths, WB etc. But recently, I learned to skate just what I had and basically, I had to have a real 8.12 , 31.3 and 14 Wb, but error on the part of the skateshop that sent it to me. But without thinking and skating, this board is perfect.

I feel like Real are one of the best boards. The really medium concave is perfect, and also, for forged indy, I have the impression that they adapt to all the boards. Is madness cured little by little thanks to the DLX + Indy combo ?  :D

Kicks and truck height matter more than wb I feel. I’m on a 14.25 with Indy forged too and I thought it was going to be weird buttt nahhh. Shits butter. I’ve had indy standards on a 14” wb primitive and it felt good. Same indys on a 14” sc felt too steep. Kicks matter.

Indy Stage XI 159
Speedlab 55mm 101a
Bronson raw
Pepper grip
