Niceee! I had a Zig Zagger years ago and it was tons of fun! So diverse un it's functions. Definitely made me see how fun it Is to have a cruiser to switch it up from the daily driver.
Years later I started to film so a cruiser has become essential for missions or just when I want to have a chill day. It's nice when you pick a board with a nice shape to cruise in but can also have the ability to bust out a few maneuvers if necessary.

Wow!
Nice! My friend had almost the exact setup but just a blue Tommy Guerrero with Indys and T-Bones and no rails. I remember that well partly because I think we both got new completes at the skate shop together that day and I got the Lance Mountain Crest with Tracker Ultralights and MiniRats.

While I'm here and this is my first post and I didn't see any newbie thread, I'll make a quick intro even if no one cares (probably why I didn't see a thread for it :D)
I started skating when I was a little kid with one of those tiny cruiser decks but didn't learn about "real" skateboards and tricks until I was around 10. I was one of the first of my friends to learn how to ollie and got pretty good at that but not much else. Even though I was never very good at it, I've always loved skateboarding and it has been a part of my life, which led me to this site. I just got heavily back into skating a few years ago and before that, I did not skate other than to just get around short distances for about 20 years and lost what little skills I had. Once I knew I wanted to get back into it, I looked into new gear so here's where I'm at:

Current setup is on the right:
DGK 8.25
Tensor Maglight
Spitfire Conical Full 54 99A
Bronson G3
Mob Grip & Pig Hardware

The white Minilogo setup was my last board I had during the time I wasn't really skating but always had at least one setup to cruise around on. When I tried to get back into it, it felt too small (8" w/ 7.65" trucks) and unstable so I got the 8.25 Creature with Ace AF1. Been liking the 8.25" setups but now that I have regained some board control, I went back to try the Minilogo and been having a lot of fun with it trying to learn flat ground tricks and snapped it recently (first deck I have ever completely snapped). The DGK is near done now too so I'll be posting my next setup when that time comes. I want to try slightly larger and slightly smaller decks with smaller wheelbases.

The Theibaud was my last shaped deck and the Hook Ups was just some other random old deck I had around when I was taking the picture.

@gsosa Pass~Port uses the generic Generator shapes that Theories, Sci-Fi, Frog, etc. all use except that they always have dark brown top plies.

So much fun man! A sub 9” punk point is cool to look down at, and it works great for all the dumb stuff you know I like to do

@gsosa you nailed it, perfect board for when an intended cruise changes into a little session

8.5 HW Team Deck
159 Indy Hollow
54 mm SF Tablets
Bones Big Balls
Pepper Grip
Indy Hardware

I like these Heated Wheel decks. They use a generic generator shape (same as Tactics and Sci-Fi Fantasy). Not bad for $44.

Everything is identical, just have a Tactics deck instead of HW. Both use Generator’s 8.5, 14.5 WB shape.

I wanted the HW to last until November, but it got a nasty chip.

I have those Colburn trucks in 144. I hate having to settle for trucks because my shop doesn’t have standard silver trucks. I realize that 144 is a pretty specific size but it’s also 8.25 which has to be one of the most popular sizes otherwise they wouldn’t have went through the trouble of making them.

I also empathize with them because while making orders, you would probably feel lazy only buying a bunch of silver trucks but my opinion is that all of the signature or graphic trucks should 100% be in the minority or ordered only when asked for.

I’m sorry but I don’t give a fuck about Cookie or these stupid drawings on my trucks. I also don’t REALLY give a fuck about these stupid drawings on my trucks but I’d rather have silver trucks and am happy to complain about them on the SLAP message boards.

They skate like Indy’s so I guess that’s good but after the Ben DeGros era of product consciousness I feel like I’d be into the wheelbase lengthening properties of Thunders. I used to ride them like a decade ago but I’m a long ways away from worrying about that because I’ve only had these trucks since June.
