I have those Colburn trucks in 144. I hate having to settle for trucks because my shop doesn’t have standard silver trucks. I realize that 144 is a pretty specific size but it’s also 8.25 which has to be one of the most popular sizes otherwise they wouldn’t have went through the trouble of making them.

I also empathize with them because while making orders, you would probably feel lazy only buying a bunch of silver trucks but my opinion is that all of the signature or graphic trucks should 100% be in the minority or ordered only when asked for.

I’m sorry but I don’t give a fuck about Cookie or these stupid drawings on my trucks. I also don’t REALLY give a fuck about these stupid drawings on my trucks but I’d rather have silver trucks and am happy to complain about them on the SLAP message boards.

They skate like Indy’s so I guess that’s good but after the Ben DeGros era of product consciousness I feel like I’d be into the wheelbase lengthening properties of Thunders. I used to ride them like a decade ago but I’m a long ways away from worrying about that because I’ve only had these trucks since June.
Those teal ones? They don't look that bad, I was expecting something in the realm of those hideous Ellington's that I couldn't find but instead I found these beauties:
Sir, I'm going to politely, but firmly, ask you and your common sense to leave this establishment.

Titus Athena 8"
Krux 7.6 (they turn really nice after breaking in and fiddling with the tightness of the kingpin)
53 Acid Wheels (the wheelbites on the board are from 56mm wheels, since turning to 53mm no more bites occured
... and Vans Comfycush pimped with paracord (ripped the og laces by stumbling over the board)

First time I've heard someone say Kruxs turn really nice. Glad they work for you though!

Made them turn before i read you can't make them turn.  :-X ;D

Honestly this is my first board and it took a few weeks for me to understand all the options you have. In the beginning it felt like a lorry that even had problems to turn on a broad street. By fine-tuning the tightness i'm now at point where it really feels like i can "go where i wanna go" in a much smaller radius.

Real 8.06 Full SE, 31.5 and 14 Wb.
Indy Standards 139.
Blank wheels, 52 mm.

I also have a pair of Forged hollows. I wonder which truck is best on this setup, but, the height of 55 MM on a wb 14 and short length makes me curious !

The forged hollows im combination with the 14wb and the kinda shorter tail would make the tail hit a bit faster when you do an Ollie. Which would result in less effort to pop said Ollies. If you find the Forged Hollows a bit too light, you can combine the forged baseplate with a standard hanger. Your current setup needs a bit more effort to pop but the Ollies would theoretically feel more explosive. Anyway, rad setup.

Length’s slightly under 32
Wheelbase is right at 14
Not sure about the kick lengths but they’re a pretty “in-between” shape, not too square but definitely not pointy
Lots of concave too

Thanks for the response! Today I tried to ride this setup.. Result, I lasted 30 minutes with the standard indy.. I thought I was going to love them the way I loved them when I was younger, and no.. Much too much effort with this height and heavy weight, I took the forged hollows, it's much more satisfying and pleasant.. A mixture of fast and heavy pop at the same time.. The height is perfect too !

Indy 159 standards
Generator GFB, 9.something 14.3 wb
Spit OG classics, originally 56

I missed the universality of indys. My flats okay, curbs are great, transitions doing me well. definitely a big boy though, I feel it after an hour of flat

Btw the bushings do stiffen up significantly. Just have to be patient.
