Heated wheel fast ball egg. 9.25 14.25 wb
Ace 55 deedz hollows. Plasti blasted the hangers
Spitfire 54mm conicals tried to round the corners like Mbrimson88 does. So there like a radial with that conical concave cut center.
Olympia bearings

First egg/shaped board I’ve ever skated. Didn’t get to skate too long maybe 20-30 minutes. Don’t know how I feel yet. It definitely feels big. If I get another egg may get a slightly smaller one. I usually skate 8.75 but this feels so much bigger.

New aces. Enjoying them so far

Back on spits after x99s started feeling sticky on nose slides.

Looks awesome!

If you hadn't really skated it much, you might not have felt much, but I am curious to hear if you noticed a difference in how the wheels felt?

Some people really like the more rounded sides, but others find they are weird to get used to.

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

not sure ive seen it on this one either. its marbie's graphic which would normally be on her square nose board but i guess this one got screened on cher's shape? i could be wrong.

i was expecting to hate it but i really love it thus far. its super flat and ive been skating it backwards (flips off the nose, slides on the tail). made me completely rethink what i desire in a setup.

I am back on the First Skateshop blank twins after a foray into the Ishod 8.25 twin and the DGK 8.25 twin, which did not really work for me. I guess it has to do with the concave, which is really flat on these blanks as opposed to the steeper Ishod and even steeper DGK. I have to say that kickflips worked like a treat on the Ishod and even better on the DGK but the price for that was that I really struggled with frontside flips and even completely lost fakie frontside flips on the DGK. A price I was not ready to pay. Now I have to relearn riding the flat concave but what can I do...

I regret nearly every 80s style shape I set up also. Fun to look at but pretty impractical most of the time... Sometimes they do unlock some magic though... Maybe do some crailtaps.

I think they just force you to ride in a different stance which is fun but not practical for your normal skating, unless you get used to riding that way

Ill throw one in the rotation every now and then. Sometimes its nice to have something so different and exaggerated that you start looking at your normal setup differently. If you're getting bored its a fun way to figure new things out and from what ive noticed no one takes shaped boards seriously so that expectation anxiety kinda melts away.

Metal 8.5x15.25 wb with Black Magic grip stripe on the tail.
Venture 5.8 with the v8s on the standard setting to keep the long ass wb more true.
58s radials with swiss 6.

Bought this board a while ago. I just wanted to try something different. Board is fucking fun to cruise around on. To my surprise it feels hella light to pop. It feels mellower than a standard dlx or bbs deck. The kicks seem melloer and longer. I don't have to try to put my popping foot on the pocket, it feels natural to do it. I have more time to slide my foot and then flick my flip tricks, making them a bit higher.

I'm 5'9 on a bad day, 5'10 on a good day, i was hesitant to try it cause I'vealways heard big wb are for tall dudes or pool skaters but i skate fine with it. I encourage people to try this shape and wb. So much fun.

sick setup. ventures and big ass wheels always look good together.

that graphic is very tight.

full madness is riding a Slappy's shop deck. Their decks are just printed on defet Clutch/BBS shapes that really vary and are super inconsistent. The defects are all minor, but its hilarous when they have just heat transferred over a DLX graphic they couldn't sell. One time there was an embossed Baker in the stack, which I woulda fucked with had it been better dims.
