The Polar 8.5S is the BBS 8.5S shape. Currently Sci-Fi, Hardbody, Polar, and Magenta offer this shape too. Hockey shape 2 may be the same as well.

well composed setup

Always love a yellow bottom/top. The plies are Yellow, Black, 3x Natural in middle, then Black, Yellow. Looks nice.

Ah, 5.8s. The mere sight of them on a board...

Love these trucks. Tossed em on some new cast plates (forged previously).

I just got back from a 470 mile backpacking trip. My legs are still pretty roasted and having been off the board for 4 weeks now, I'm probably not the best judge at this moment.

First session was great though. This length is what I feel most comfortable on, and I love Polar's shapes with the bigger nose and regular tail.

AH: 8.32” x 14.18” x 31.64” (Cody Chapman)

Spitfire Radial Full: 59 mm, 99du (Kader)
Bones Swiss 6
Real Universal Risers: 1/4”
Ace AF1 Hollow Hardware: 1 1/4”

The grip is whatever SPoT gives out for free but it must be a couple years old.

I met Greg at a 1031 demo years ago. Super solid dude. I was getting my degree at the time and we chatted about his degree in Native American studies. Stoked to be able to support him at least a little.

Also loving the 1990 wheel situation there, looks like ~56mm freestyle wheels, flipped inward on stage 5 166's?

Haven't skated a twin since the welcome evil twin was Discontinued (still don't understand why they got rid of that shape?) but been meaning to try this shape since it came out but was scared of the 14" wb but hopefully its a shape I can stick to this one to end the board/truck madness

Trying 8.5 trucks on a 8.25 because so many of you studs on here seem to love it.
I love this awful graphic because it reminds me of a kids menu/coloring page I would get at seafood restaurants growing up on CapeCod.
8.25 Anchor (local shop)
149 Royals
53mm classics
9jahs (for the picture, I dont wear shoes in the house, like some of you sick fucks)

edit:
shit. Imgur and ibb links aren't working..use your imagination, I guess

I thought I'd dislike 149 on 8.25-8.38 but it's been great. That extra bit of pinch room is super nice. Lots of "tech" dudes like the Sour crew all roll 149 standards on 8.25 and seem to do fine.

imgbb was down a week or two ago, so I just started using
https://postimages.org/
instead.

However, the last two images were from imgbb, so it currently works, and the site isn’t down.
