Wknd 8.0 i can't remember the wb, might be 14.25. Pretty mellow ps stix with pepper grip.
Venture 5.2 low
Prize Fighter 53 mm wheels with swiss 6.

Skated the board for 1 day for like an hr, like the shape a lot. I get less pop than on my dwindle boards. But i feel like i have more control on this.  Been skating af1s and shelltoes. Forgot how good shelltoes feel.

Cons
black, grey, white, and a bit of red
my ideal setup has all of those details

honestly the color scheme is so good
i overlooked the very santa cruz graphic altogether
well done +1

Quasi 8 (old PS stix one)
Venture 5.6 V8s
Loophole 98d 54s
Sunday shieldless
Shortys 7/8 Allen
Mob

Reminds me of my first board which was a red blank. Also I always wanted those Business & Company butterfly boards. Close enough, but I can’t wait to be done with my PS Stix stack.

I feel like we are sort of on the same tip but different. I'm skating the 8.5 one of these. I love a ps stix 8.5x32.125x14.25 boxy shaped board. This is another from my stack after skating multiple snack boards in a row.

Quasi 8.5x32.125x14.25
Venture 5.8
58 mm 93 a Spitfire Radials
bones big balls
7/8 nutass Allen hardware
jessup

shoe wise I'm skating the brown ipath Kenny Reed low tops. My last board lasted over 6 months before eventually snapping on me. A new board can last me forever or break in 15 minutes. I had a good session on this so hoping for the best because it feels very very nice.

Already one sesh in and my board feels stable and comfortable than the previous shape I had.

I normally prefer the graphics on the inside lol. I just switch and rotate them every so often for them to wear down evenly.

i like that little polar setup

how tall are you guys riding the Ventures with 14.25 and longer WB? I find that really hard to ride personally at 6', that is just too much wb for me. but i also have kinda little legs too.

I feel the same at 6'1''. I think most of the discomfort for me comes from having to skate overall shorter boards/ wheelbases with ventures. Found that longer boards (32''+ length, and 14.5'' wb) with a tighter wheel base truck, like aces or T2s, feels the most comfy. V8s might be the answer for you.

I'm 6'2", around 215lb and generally pretty ogre-ish. I ran forged Ventures on a 14.5 wheelbase for years before the V8s came out and gave me a new bout of madness. Flip tricks are harder on such a long wheelbase, but literally everything else from just skating fast to ledges and transition is a lot easier for me. I think that's because my movements aren't very precise and I don't have any finesse, but plenty of strength to pop a little harder and scoop a little faster.

i am even a little under 6 feet id say maybe 5'11 actually
so i can see if you are 6'1" you could use the 14.5" + Venture.
I also like using the T2 with the 14.5" wb it works well for me.

Very similar for sure. I had four or five Snacks this year, love both their 8 and 8.125 shapes. They’ve gone to BBS now and deserve all the love.

Is that Quasi new or old? So sick.

This quasi is sort of old. Not too many decks left in my stash these days. Both of our boards are from the same series. Mine is just the 8.5 version.  I feel like I recall you posting a snack board before and I was skating the 8.5 from the same series at the same time which was sort of random because it was a pretty old graphic by then.

I’m just a hair shy of 6’1 and 185 pounds. I feel like I’m more torso than legs but that’s probably in my head. I prefer a 14.25 wheelbase on venture 5.8s. It seems to be the sweet spot. Shorter wheelbases are good for scoopy tricks (360 flips, back 360, etc) but longer wheelbases feel better for just regular kickflips for me (and I guess Ollie’s/nollies and all around tricks that just go straight). I feel like 14.25 is short but not too short - just right

For additional point of reference  ^^ I'm 5' 10" and more legs than torso. Will never go below 14.25" WB no matter the truck. My norm is 14.38" - 14.5" with Indy.

I tried Thunder/Ventures on 14.25 and that felt adequate. Could probably get away with 14.5" on Thunder/Ventures as long as the length is about 32

Im close to 6 foot 2. I skate 14.5 with indy standard. Really good combo. I tried 14.25 with standards and I bust my ass on 180 tricks because I land too far forward due to the short wb.
