Penis hands that is such a good characterization of me, I actually only faux push to slow down. I'm actually going to go down to my local shop and pick up some 60mm's so I can be a speed demon like you when I get my water.

you're still a jerk off, nice try though.

anyone else remember that rubber griptape from the mid-90's? Can't recall a company name. Never had it myself, but remember throwing a kickflip rubber on rubber was a hindering feeling; you felt a little bit more glued down to your board.

i might be wrong on this but is it Rip Grip that you're thinking of?

Jerk off? really are we 14? are you GWB in disguise? How about this, I'll keep on doing what I'm doing, skating all the time and posting here when it rains, and you just keep hating all the time.

you are so hardcore.  you come on here calling out people who don't skate a bigger board, but now all of a sudden you're the mature guy who is too cool to argue, and only posts here when it rains because he skates 24/7 but no transition, thats for old guys who don't skate fast and/or suck at street.

fuck you.

yes, i sent them back to paul at DLX and he hooked me up with 3 new sets of classics.  apparently the newer batches are much better than the first run.

is it safe to say slap posters prefer vertical graphics to horizontal ones (minus the occasional zip zinger in there)?

it may just be that chocolate/girl and dlxsf have tended towards the vertical graphics

EDIT:  i just noticed you also skate 50mm wheels.............whats the matter afraid to go fast aswell?
[close]

I really don't think skating smaller wheels affects speed, it's all in your push and pumps, if anything i'd be willing to bet most of the dudes I see skating 58mm wheels are alot slower than me. On top of that, they never leave the bowls/ mini ramps because they're to old and or shitty to skate street oriented things.

Where are all these mythical places of old people and mini ramps? I just see a bunch of lil' fuckers fakieing for two hours on flat-bottom, until they make the conscious decision to crawl back up to the deck. I'm riding 57s now. I'm not sure how fast I'm going (I'm a sucker for those marketing ploys to your right, "It's on! New formula." Total chaos and shit's on fire everywhere.)  But it always seems faster in the first person.

Word, I might've covered that one as well, I think it's kind of a hipster phrase now.

I'm sure that dudes with huge wheels(in my opinion 54mm is huge) are fast, I wasn't saying otherwise, I was saying that I have no problem ripping through 20ft front 5-0's on tranny with my 50's. And I rarely see the dudes that skate huge wheels skating knee high ledges. I myself try to skate everything, and I just noticed that alot of dudes stay at the same thing. No disrespect to dudes on big wheels if it works for you, keep on rockin' but it's not my cup of tea.

sort of off topic but in regards to wheel size/bearing comparison....

i have 2 setups.  1 has abec 3 with 56mm wheels, the other abec 7 with 51mm wheels.
me and my friend both bombed the same hill, i let my friend ride the abec3 w/56 while i rode the abec 7 w/51.
now even though he had the "slower" bearings, hes still flew by me because he had the bigger wheels.  this didn't really prove anything to me because he weighs more than me and i felt that the additional weight makes somewhat of a difference.  so switched boards and bombed the hill again and i ended up flying by him with the "slower" bearings which goes to prove that having bigger wheels does more for speed than having faster bearings.

I will agree here that bombing hills on 50's is not all that fun, but my point was more along the lines of, if I roll in, carve a corner and then tear through a long grind, I dont think 60mm's are gonna help dude that do the all to familiar, drop in rock to fakie, tailstall, axle stall, feeble, then pop out.
If I know what I'm doingit doesnt really matter that the wheels are small. Also when was the last time you saw someone say nollie nosegrinding a ledge over 18 inches on 58's?

Abec does not measure speed performance, it is a measure of how much friction a material can take before it begins to degrade.
