I don't care.  It's a ps stix alien board.  Shapes fine.  It skates fine.  I'm fairly neutral about Berra.  And I got it from Active for usd$34 and I don't feel bad about that either.  I'd love to support a local skate shop but not at the cost of can$90 after taxes.

For the Canucks on here....

You guys gotta start supporting either Kitsch or Premium.
Both make some of the best boards around and they're cheaper since they're Canadian.
I think Kitsch is pressed in the States so they might be like...$10 under an American brand
but Premium is pressed in Canada so you should be able to get them for $50 or $60....unless times have changed......

Anyways, I just hit up this Japanese shop that recently opened up here (YES, SOME DECENT SELECTION FINALLY!)

I've got two set-ups on the go.

1)  My street board

 7.75 Lesque Board
Thunder 5.25's
Bones 53 mm wheels
Bones Reds

2) My park board

7.8 Premium Japanese - Go Ueda pro model
  Indy 9's - 139
  58 mm birdhouse wheels
  Swiss Bearings

You must be new to the Skateboard game.  This is real industry talk.  "It's all about who you know".  And that's real.

Jart decks are actually really good. I've skated a few of them. Nice shapes, and crispy wood.

Jart actually presses decks for a few big name companies (which they won't reveal)

never had any first hand experience with one but a friend of a friend got a box of them for pretty cheap and went through them all in about three weeks
