Some great stuff, lot of stuff that would’ve been acceptable in 2003. He’s more style than substance in a lot of the first half. I definitely got old alien vibes from this edit. I loved the gap to nosegrind on the multikink rail.

The editing was the weakest part. Sammy is sick but this part didn't really live up to his last few.

Maybe you could build a case for old Alien Workshop in the first 30 seconds of that part before the song kicks in, but after that nope. There is no strong visual identity or team cohesiveness with this version of Alien Workshop. Basically film a full part with a handful of filmers, and have someone not involved with the filming, edit it all.

any of miguel valle's edits are far better than this shit. Ive never seen a decent edit by andy licardi.

dude the first video they did with the reboot was complete shit. i don’t think i’ve ever seen anything else from andy. this is the first i’ve heard of him.

I think the problem was the song, it was edited really good but the song blew it IMO, it made Sammys skating feel underwhelming (and the tricks were hella dope)

Random thought - business owners/employees must trip out when they show up to work one day and part of a handrail has literally been sawed off... gone. That's seems so much harsher than waxing up a ledge. I could see being annoyed at skaters about some scuffed up ledges, but I'd be willing to bet a sawed off rail has turned many people into full blown skater-haters that may have not had much of an opinion previously. I'm not trying to bash people who do it, more just commenting on how absurd and destructive it must seem to non-skaters.

I felt like the guy who edited this tried to pick a little something from every Alien era and I think he did a good job.
