Rapid fire was on point, good on him for calling out Mikey. And it’s also cool to know me and Arto share some of the most annoying traits.

Tom had some good stories too, and the overall interview was great. I used to not be a fan, I think because one part I watched felt like it was all polejams and wallrides, but I’ve come around. I think the Thrasher Out There with him really changed my perspective. He’s a good guy and I respect his work ethic and drive to find spots and skate things the way he likes.

his response for "worst bunt" in the rapid fire when he talked about how claimed switch back tail on that ledge to flatbar at that playground in Philly and couldn't even get close and it was extra embarrassing because Philly was the switch back tail capital of the world at the time and everyone from Philly could switch back tail with their eyes closed had me cracking up lol

I feel like I tell this story too often (maybe just IRL) but I sold Tom a shirt on depop a few years back and after I fanned out a little, we shot the shit about John Carpenter movies and skating and have kept in touch a little bit ever since. Dude is 100% a stand up guy. Easily my most wholesome pro encounter.

Lol the Tom Knox voice was good too haha. The duck story was sick. I like how they lol’d at calling the ducklings little kids after asking for the word duckling. “oh white flannel”

I thought the rattray episode was good. While it’s not as “fun” as some other episodes, John really showcased himself as a genuine, even toned guy and that’s super relatable. What a good dude

I just finished the interview and there wasn’t any hot takes that I heard. I’m at work so I wasn’t paying the most attention though.

Weird things I noticed are Oskis voice sounded deeper than i expected cause he looks so young. No mention of lurpiv?
