Have they ever had Gershon on? I'd like to hear much more about the bullshit he dealt with during his career especially the Reynolds incident. I saw him at an A-Team demo at The Wedge when I was a kid and he was insanely consistent and ripped the entire spot.

Also, skaters need to get at least basic accountants early on. Talking about Gershon leaving $30K royalty checks around and I remember Smolik saying he would only pick up checks when they were large enough and then he'd immediately cash them and its insane how much money is wasted.

It’s hilarious Donna and Cepheus looked at James with completely blank stares when he brought up the Bones Dragon wheels. How the fuck do they not know about them? I know they don’t fuck with Bones and neither do I but how deep under that rock do you gotta live to not be the least bit aware of one of the most popular wheels in the last decade. Made for a funny moment.

davis torgesen starting to piss me off during the random skater section. There's a nerdy smarmyness to him that puts me off. This week he was like "oh this will be a dead give away" and the hint was something like the skater doesnt like hot sauce and then he was shocked that people didn't know it

Carlos Ruiz comment was interesting, but I understand. I randomly met and skated with him quite a few times a year or two before "what if" at a skate park and was floored when I saw him in the video. I had no idea he was a sponsored skateboarder. He skated pretty well but that is not uncommon at a Southern California skate park. Usually, he was skating solo. He was a really nice guy with no ego. I ended up seeing him at ASR later on down the road since I went with a Kr3w rider and Carlos still had the same demeanor. Glad to see he went on to get a union type of job, considering his style of skating. The industry eats those guys up and spits them out pretty damn fast.   

I feel you on lawns. I've been into those lawn renovation youtube videos for a couple of years and even have a lawn mower simulator on PS4, lol.


Edit: Have you found a better breakfast burrito than Pepe's? If so, I am all ears.

You live in the Fu or just a visit? I don't like eggs..I know so I'm the breakfast burrito guy...but Don Carlos on Lemon and Commonwealth my wife loves but she doesn't eat land animals. Pepe's in Placentia, El Camino Real off Euclid was Kobe's fav Mexican spot, El Farolito in Placentia and in DTF bang too. Taqueria De Anda in Fullerton is good but mad cutty. Any other food recs I got you!
