I like the fact that he quits a company, and a team manager, who was kind enough to loan him around 40 000 $ over the years for several surgeries.
That shows loyalty and gratitude.
I guess they stuck with him in bad times, but he did not. Especially if, as he said, it was a recognition problem rather than a money problem.
Anyway, the ego and confidence is wild. Dude approaches skateboarding like an NBA player or a douchy entrepreneur. I don't really know, but this is surely not inspiring to me.
His diction and calm composure makes him look like as nice enough guy though, but his claims and acts are definitely a turn off as a fellow skatemate or team mate.
Too bad Monarch is done because there would have been a spot for him right there.
