I loved this. A bit of a slow start but the good music and cameos from Greco and Penny held it together. I wasn't sure what to expect from the twins but they both killed it and Joeys unique style made it even better.

That must’ve been a nightmare to film.

lots of homages w/ the daewon/wray roof spots and greco/heathian rails. that was the point, right?

This was interesting.
I liked it a lot. Some of it felt heavy handed, but most of it was great.
Heavy Heath vibes throughout; Penny footage was a blessing.
Front smith 360 out was so fucking tight.
Gonna watch it a couple times to take it all in.
Excited for whatever he's got in store for 2020.

Agreed.

The brunners killed it. Sitting through 20 minutes of miscellaneous footage to get to it felt unnecessary. There were some gems in the first section though, Duffle's roof clip made my day.

Still haven't sat through the whole thing, but from all the skipping around I really dug the ellington-skating-ellington-2's clips  ;D and the part set to Pavement's Serpentine Pad

I liked it, maybe some of it was a bit drawn out but we did get that Duffel roof clip, some good Penny (even laughing), a bit of Greco & Klein some Oscar Candon and a clear attempt at doing something different. A pretty good try.

i actually made it through but what was the point of it all? in my opinion most of it seemed like a namedrop/ self cheer compilation without a real story... i guess he s pretty fond of himself and the names he associates with but whatever at least it s a different approach... the brunners were great though and made up for the wait! loved all the uci footy!

Joey's just your regular skate rat that never expected to have the opportunity to make skateboarding films and work with his favorite professional skaters. I'm pretty sure he was trying to show his appreciation Jim, Jeremy, Deathwish people ect.for giving him that opportunity. Blending in the Brunner's was a good way to show how he never changed since he started filming & editing, he's still just skating with friends and making projects the way he wants to with out a care of what other people think.

Marty Dibergi: The review you had on Shark Sandwich which was merely a two word review. Just said "Shit Sandwich."
David St. Hubbins: Where did they print that?
Derek Smalls: That's not real, is it?

I used to dig on Joey until I found out he was a conspiracy nut
