Thunder Hardies ?
« on: January 25, 2020, 06:16:55 PM »
Does anyone know what the specs on Thunder Hardies are? I want to swap titanium baseplates on to aluminum hangers. I prefer the aluminum grind but want any added lightness I can get.

seems pointless
while cool-guying is a real phenomenon, studies show that 83% of all cool-guying incidents can be attributed to the cool-guyee being an awkward weirdo

All Thunder hangars are aluminum. The only titanium is the axle not the hanger.

Yeah, right. But MY QUESTION IS what are the SPECS of hardies vs team vs low vs whatever million different trucks they make? I just want them to match if I swap

Literally, they don't have a god damn chart for "hardies" so thanks for the literally condescending unhelpful commentary. Skate on.

They're hollow lights so they have the same forged baseplate that a titanium would have. The all black ones on the Hardies site are the same as the silver black Hardies models available everywhere else. 147s should be 50mm high and 149 are 53.5. Someone else chime in if I got those heights wrong plz

Jesus Christ dude. There’s two kinds of basepates... Forged and Standard.  Sizing depends on the baseplate and the size of the axel as 147s and smaller run quite a bit lower.

This is all on their website and listed in Tactics item descriptions.

Also there’s no such thing as a titanium baseplate you kook. Those Hardies already have the lighter and lower forged ones on them.

But why do the research when someone else can.

Try not asking a question you could easily answer yourself with a cursory search, then acting like an entitled dipshit when people don't just spoonfeed you the answer you want.

Ask like a fucking normal person and you'll get a better response.

4.75 risers if you are riding hardies with titanium baseplates
