Doing tricks to fakie or regular shouldn't count as different tricks, period. I couldn't care less who's winning, I just want to see a good game, and people just redoing tricks the other one obviously can't do is just plain boring to watch.
What? They are different tricks period. I can backtail much easier then backtail to fakie, just as an example. What’s next? You can rotate bs or fs out of a grind, it doesn’t matter?!

Yeah, I definitely want to see a game where someone figures out early on that the other person can't do sw back tails and then see every possible variation of that trick on the low and high ledge for an easy win. Probably phrased poorly on my end, but to me that whole shtick is boring and looks like a competitive kind of sport event that I despise vs a fun game between friends, which I think it should be. If you know someone can't do a dumb doubleflip, maybe don't do a dumb fakie doubleflip next.

Or maybe put it like that: I assume the bag of tricks of all the people participating is deep enough to avoid this behavior.

That sounds really good but this is not a game of friends. There's money in the line dude, and you know you gotta hustle in Brazil. Leave the friendship for the streets.

That final try backside tailslide shove-it was clutch...
as was the winning trick. Fun to watch but too many 50-50 variations.

That was indeed a fun game to watch. Wanted to see that noseslide fs 270 out from Gabi, looked really proper, Marina tho, so young and getting so good. I think Tiago is taking her under his wing which is dope. I think she gets primitive boards and also joined NB recently. I love seeing the clips where they skate together. So much stoke for each other.

These girls are great. That was a fun watch.

It's been said to death but I'm psyched to see more women coming into skateboarding and other sports like MMA that tended to be male dominated. Men and women have different physiques and it'll be interesting to see how they attack spots differently because of it.

There were some strategic variations in there but they covered off most of the staples and it was so sick to see Gabriela actually step it up and push faster into her tricks......pretty much a no bullshit game.

MY younger dog, AST, age 1.5 years, just had a Cranial Cruciate Ligament tearing and we had to do a surgery (TTA). The vet says this is pure genetics, since she is so young. Long recovery ahead of us, but she is walking fine after just a week (ut we have to limit her severely for 3 months at least).

The breeder denies heredity and blames trauma, so we are not getting a partial refund. The first orto vet diagnosed her with a misaligned disc in her spine and the second one (the best one in the country right now), saw right away that her limping is due to the ligament. Her spine is fine, but my wife was scared shitless for a month, because she is a vet by education and knew what spine problems would lead to.

So now, we're stuck with two dogs that cannot play with each other for almost a year and there is a 50% chance that the same surgery will have to be done on the other leg in 1-2 years. For anyone keeping count, our older dog had a series of 3 surgeries in three weeks on her intestines and almost died 6 months ago, but is now fully recovered. I'd say she is a bit less energetic for her age, but other than that she's good and we're super thankful for that.

Women's game was great - but was this just a random one off? Or was there also a women's bracket? My lack of Portuguese left me confused here.

I’m not certain but I think they played a woman’s contest too but just showed the final. Maybe next year there be double the games
