I love K-Rod but there are a lot of French skaters who are way more deserving of a pro board from Hockey.

The dude sells a ton of boards and generates a ton of interest without having a social media presence (aside from the fan pages people make for him). He fully deserves to be pro, even if you think he is a pile or wears bad pants or whatever.

Also hilarious that he tried to go back to am for Polar in exchange for not having to have a social media presence but Pontus nixed it.

I just legitimately don't think he is near good enough. If you strip away the slappy/ride on shit from his parts he has very little content of that caliber board sales or not.

I think if someone wanted to make a 10-part docu-series like "The Last Dance" for a skateboarder and their career, the most compelling person to do it on would be Jamie Thomas. I'm not even a Jamie Thomas fan, but I think you would need at least half a dozen hours of interviews to fully unpack the unorthodox approach he took to becoming successful in the skate industry.

He did one slappy (after a ledge trick trick) and no ride on stuff in his Dancing On Thin Ice part. He did, however, do a lot of high caliber stuff I haven't seen anyone else do, including 360 flip and backside nollie over a street gap landing on a corner, and nosegrind a tree root.

It’s not his style, lots of my friends dress like him. Don’t care about that. Even some of his surfier/sketchier shit.

Rewatched his thin ice part. The only things I thought were remotely decent were his backside 3, and the last 2 street gap curb bonks.

His nose slide 270 out on the curved ledge wasn’t bad, but that thing has been heavily skated and that wasn’t very memorable thing done on it

I don't get the hate for David Gonzales or Kyle Walker on this board. They both undeniably rip. I mean, yeah, they have kookish tendencies, but so have all of our favorites.
