They're an experimental J-Pop group -- the girls do typical group dances/singing on stage like you would usually from someone like Girls Generation, however, most of the time on tour they'll be backed up by legit metal/hard rock acts. They've done shows with Metallica and Slayer it's pretty crazy how they've become so big in a short time. They don't write their lyrics or anything like that though, all the female idol groups are pretty much run by dudes in suits -- when they're popularity dwindles they just dump em in the trash.
