the music video is as bad as one of those artsy vhs new york videos that we couldnt get enough of like a year ago, but the song is tight. i just found these guys today and all of their music is really good.

youre worse than me. i was playing bloodhound gang today. part of me has to still be 12 years old because i really think that "fire water burn" and "hell yeah" are great songs.

anyway, besides that, i really cant get enough of this band. i posted one of their song two days ago and ive probably listened to that album 3 or 4 times since then, and im the kind of person who doesnt like listening to the same album twice in the same week. i had the place to myself and i just listened to it on my stereo for the first time and hearing on good speakers is like a totally different experience. maybe ive had too much to drink, but i really think everyone should listen to this album and experience how great it is. the first track is amazing and it just goes from there.

Tonight I've been listening to the Arctic Monkeys B-Sides a lot. The B-Sides are simply something most fans look over. Also the Jeweler's Hands are personally my favorite song by them.

Surprised to see Rhiannon Giddens had her own featured story this morning on CBS Sunday Morning. Looks like she is deservingly blowing up. Here she is on her own and also another video of her with the Carolina Chocolate Drops where she made a name for herself covering an early 2000s hip hop cover.

been listening to a lot of defeater lately. If you like hardcore or storytelling it's a great band. All their albums are an interconnected story of a family torn apart by the war.

Also counterparts has been on repeat lately. I guess I've just really been into hardcore lately but I'm more focused on the writing. Counterparts just puts being a human into perspective for me. Been really into these two songs the last few weeks.
