Just discovered these guys. Really awesome garage/proto-punk stuff from the 70s. The album this is from is rock solid. They go from straight forward Velvet Underground sounding songs into weird spacey psych jams that sound a bit like early Pink Floyd stuff.

great music for lots of activities. have you been to any of their shows? they got the crowd pretty frenzied the couple times I saw them.

never seen them live. i dont think they tour much over on my part of the country. i could see their shows being a lot of fun though.

never seen them live. i dont think they tour much over on my part of the country. i could see their shows being a lot of fun though.

they usually wear costumes of some sort and the guitar “solos” are extra face melting live. not much banter. just a short straight set of music. you can tell they studied the ramones’ playbook for that. I don’t think they tour that much but they do get out once in a while. I saw them in NY.

so those trve cvlt tracks are are surf-style covers of black metal songs. that’s pretty cool. blackmetal is not my cup o’ tea but I like the way they did that.
