I'll have to give that a shot later.

I missed seeing this band a few years ago. Really hope they come again so I can get another chance. They look and sound awesome live on the videos I've seen. That chick on bass is a badass.

Chuck, you ever listen to King Brothers? They remind me a lot of Guitar Wolf.

Just heard Idles for the first time today. I think I put them off because their name makes them sound like one of the dozens of generic wimpy indie bands out there today. I was wrong. They're fucking awesome and put on what looks like a really fun show. Love their Kirchart costumes too.

i was actually listening to sleaford mods earlier in the day, then played some slaves and they lead me to idles. all good stuff.

edit: Thanks for that pharmacy radio link! I'm only 20 minutes in and everything they've played is great. The other episodes look great too. Definitely going to give the Wayne Kramer, James Williamson and David J episodes a listen.

No youtube links yet, but the new Ty Segall and White Fence album is fucking great. I knew Tim Presley makes some pretty weird music, but this is by far the weirdest and trippiest thing Ty has been a part of. My favorite song is "She is Gold". The drum part and the jam at the end are really good.

It will probably be in my top five albums this year.

its so bloody good! I wish the two of them would tour together in the UK

classic

pretty ironic considering its message that Smooth's rap on Go With The Flow (especially around 10:40) reminds me of Big Daddy Kane's freestyle on Rap Attack:

The new Oh Sees album leaked. It's way more krauty/jazzy/proggy than most of their other albums. Lots of organ this time around. I wasn't really into it on my first listen, but it's growing on me. The drums are fantastic. Possibly the best drumming they've had yet. Kinda bummed on the lack of floor stomping bangers that they're known for, but it's good to hear Dwyer still exploring new ideas 21 albums in.

My favorite tracks are Sentient Oona, Enrique El Cobrador, Last Peace and Abysmal Urn.
