just found these guys today. on the album they sound kinda synth punky with a bit of kraut. live they look like swamp thing. pretty rad.

New Interpol album is out today. I loved this single, probably my favorite track they've put out since The Heinrich Maneuver. The rest of the album is the sonic equivalent of a lukewarm cup of coffee though. Kinda bummed.

New band that has their first album coming out this Friday. They describe the sound as "where girl groups, dub, harsh noise, minimal synth, repetitious industrial, voodoo percussion, power electronics, black leather jacket rock n' roll and DJ Screw-inspired slowing down/pitching down of samples all meet.” To me they sound like a band that would play at the Bang Bang in Twin Peaks.
