The new Khruangbin came out, dub remixes of Con Todo el Mundo, and it is really, really good, I actually like it better than CTEM.  Especially the two tracks dubbed by Scientist.

I've always loved pinback. A favorite 6th grade teacher of mine introduced me to them shortly before passing away so they have a place in my heart

I've mostly just listened to Tago Mago, but Can definitely seemed way ahead of their time.

What's the definitive Deftones album to start with? Do they have one?

For some reason I've wound up listening to this album from a Chino Moreno side project a ton, but have heard literally almost no Deftones stuff.

i'd suggest white pony. then around the fur. the debut is pretty rugged, early nu metalish, hasn't aged so good. i haven't listened to them really tbh after the self titled album, which was ok.  white pony is very post-hardcore-ish and melancholic, sometimes even shoegazy. apparently the whole band was constantly on cocaine during production.

i think this is an underrated track from white pony. very quicksandish, but has also industrial vibes to it and a creepy atmosphere.

I was gonna go with my friend, but tickets sold out a couple weeks before the show  :'(
Couldn't find a setlist for the Philly show, but it looks like he's doing mostly songs from the new album, with some older stuff mainly for the encore:

start with Change In the House of Flies and go from there. Just that song. Rinse and repeat. I was never down with a whole album of theirs but that song is the jam.

glad to know there’s at least one other pinback fan here .. fuckin with a lot of blues today

RL Burnside had a pretty cool 'revival' making some tracks towards the end of the 90s. I love this sorta stuff though, with just the slide guitar.

Just what I've been rinsing today.

I think Tera Melos was the first math rock group I ever heard, I used to have the cover of Drugs to the Dear Youth as my avatar on here in high school.
