Listened to quite a lot today as I was painting a room in my house. These three stuck out. The first track was sent to me by one of my best friends as we regularly discuss music & keep each other posted on new findings. Chris Spedding was on Here Come The Warm Jets (ENO) & apparently is a musician with solid stuff. Love this track.
Sonic Youth....always struggled with them up until recently. Always heard odds & ends from them & only own Goo & Dirty, both of which are drastically different albums & don't really highlight the band if you ask me. Figured out Sister is great & found a copy on CD on eBay for 12.00, brand new.
Also for you WIRE fans out there, you'll appreciate or be happy for me that I scored an original pressing of 154 & Chairs Missing last week. My local got them in & he text me to let me know what came in as a part of a massive post-punk/new wave collection that someone sold off.
