Tank top
« on: May 02, 2020, 05:36:24 PM »
I know this is a very kook worthy question but i want a cool tank top.
I’m a chubby guy in his late 30’s and this is hard for me to admit but i’m looking for a good tank. Not fan of being shirtless in public and tired of wearing t-shirts for all summertime activities.
Any leads to cool ones or a sale link i could clean up on.
Not only am i fat but i’m also cheap.

Take some Delorean ride and ask Daewon in 99
Sir, I'm going to politely, but firmly, ask you and your common sense to leave this establishment.

I fucking love them. I live in Australia and it’s hot. I haven’t bought one for a while is insight still around? They had good ones.

Hurley have good ones, Billabong have or had similar ones with a pocket, no logos anywhere

Also, they’re called singlets. Tank top sounds poosey

I own a decent amount of basketball jerseys. Nice to skate in when it's really hot also great for the beach. I have 96-97 season Mitchell and Ness Iverson jersey that's probably my favorite. I also have a several Barack Obama replica highschool jerseys because I had just found out about amazon and bought like a few of them when I was drunk (I also bought end tables for my bedroom and running sneakers). I think my wife might have gotten rid of my Darius Miles blazer jersey because I kept hanging the hanging the jersey as a decoration on different walls every so often. It didn't really go with her nautical decor, so I kept just hanging it up places because I thought it was fun.

Agreed with the jerseys almost being a better choice, good ones breathe. I tend to get whatever’s on sale or at Ross, Marshall’s, Burlington, etc and have come up on solid fitting, single pocket tanks with no big logos that are a bit roomier from RVCA, Ambig, and LRG. I know brands that cut skate programs are lame but I have fond memories at least RVCA still has a team

American apparel used to be great for that, really hard to find a tank top that is neither tiny nor slips your nipples all the time.

I get really hot easily and have been living in the tropics for a few years.

Just cut old t-Shirts, you can cut them exactly how you want/how they fit your body best and they are basically free and if anyone is concerned about what you are wearing just laugh in their face because they are idiots.

Consider mesh:

Not only mesh tank tops, but mesh shirts. I have a Flyers baseball type jersey in mesh that's so fucking amazing on hot days.. Like a built in AC in that mothafucka

Take note from 1997-2003 Muska for all things tank top.

I used to have a white TSA tank similar to the one in that CCS boombox ad photo someone posted above. I need to see if it's in a box at my parents' house...

*edit* I found a slightly overpriced TSA tank on Grailed, ha. Pretty sick, but not $90 sick. https://www.grailed.com/listings/13721863-shorty-s-skateboards-rare-tsa-tank-top

Funny, you always struck me as someone who was very proud of their nipples.
