Came across this, which is truly horrific, but not in the least bit surprising from Crailtap. What are some other examples of advertising that just doesn't hit and makes you shake your head?

I think Templeton's first ad where his name is omitted is pretty incompetent especially considering it was the first 50-50 on a handrail ever printed.

Flight might have partially come from their downhill program.

George is holding a Kevin Reimer board, maybe the best downhill racer in the world. LOTS of R&D went into that, they definitely didn’t shit it out as a cash grab. So that stiffening/strengthening tech probably fed into the Flight development.

Powell has made cruiser longboards in the past (I remember an old ad of Cab doing a G turn in one), but not at the moment. No one who wants to cruise in Birkenstock’s is going to pay the price for a high-end downhill axe.

I see Neff in stores all over the place but the only Neff proddy I've seen out in the wild is on some production assistant chick on a movie set at the studio I work for. I walked past her and saw that her sweatshirt said Neff and was like to myself, "Okay, note to self: this lady's a kook." I wouldn't be caught dead in Neff gear. Maybe if I was somewhere where it was really cold and I didn't have anything else to use to cover up from the elements...but that's just me.

Thought that was more of a snow brand. I see a lot of it on the slopes. But it's certainly not the brand for me.
