^ he has a huge reason to be disingenuous. why wouldnt you think that?
I'm just going off of his interactions (online and otherwise) with the victim herself. She clearly has no problem being honest about this situation so I figure her reaction probably means more than any of ours, yeah? I'm not saying Grant/WKND are absolved of any responsibility, I'm just observing their responses to each other. Ultimately her take is the most important one here.
also regarding the roast, while a lot of the jokes were tasteless and lame, there's a huge difference between joking about your dirty party friend having an STD and lying to multiple women about it and knowingly spreading it to non-consenting victims. Obviously WKND should be held accountable for giving Johan a platform and enabling him, but that doesn't outright mean they knew he was doing that. If you found out your friend had an STD, that probably wouldn't be the first thing you would assume about them. At least I hope not.
idk, I'm not trying to defend them too hard. The situation is fucked up regardless and at the end of the day I think listening to the victim is far more important than any dribble I have to say.
