Alright you fucking dorks - While you were all obsessing over colon's neck as per classic slap (tangent threads so far off the og subject), I was wasting my life away on instagram and stumbled across this account.

https://instagram.com/enzokur?igshid=16vlypsrckvf8

His story is only up for three more hours but I took a screen shot, pretty sure tfunk is wearing slipons based on where the vans tag would be and the classic line around the sole.

Prove me wrong.

It is vans pro slip on, the black stripe and toe bumper vulc wrap gave it away. Dam to think DC just gave him a shoe recently.

Someone said it was because of Chase Webb but offered no proof to back this up

What happened to Matt Miller though?! I know he does the real estate thing but also off DC? I'm getting old.

Vans actually seems like a more appropriate spot for him then DC. I could see him following boss/kader over there.

unless there's some real ugly shit in his closet that we don't know about then i don't think there is any chance at being dropped.

Lol at people thinking he got dropped just for being a jerk/douche bag. Skate teams would be barren if they abided by those limits.

He and Tom Remillard are the only two that people seem to go out of their way to mention that they are horrid

In what way is he a turd?

He probably quit when he saw his TM talking shit on him in Thrasher ?

what did the TM say?

Thrasher : On the flip side of that, is there anybody who is difficult to work with?

JG: I think the person who can be the most difficult is T-Funk. But not in a way that I don’t enjoy being around him. He challenges me in the best ways and teaches me to be more patient. He’s a really good dude and maybe just a bit misunderstood.

That's not really talking shit on him. Sounds like a subtle hint for him to buck his ideas up. But if he's a dick then maybe he took it personally rather than as a piece of advice

I thought it read like he is one of those dudes who is just a constant pest to everyone around, but in a funny way so he's enjoyable to be around, but now and again he just needs a good  kick in the arse to keep him in line.

Its not like he's been called out repeatedly on the bunt or anything.
Is it true?  Or did you read it on the slap message board?

Elissa intimated he sucks in the Baker 4 article as well.   In videos he’s looks and acts like a shitty 15 year old, but then you realize he’s like 20

All she said was that her younger relative thought he was mean, and said that he has an anger in him.

I always found it a bit weird when you see him wrestling with Kader and Zach Allen...

I’m always wary of website team lists, I think most companies neglect them since they don’t get as much traffic as they did pre social media. Stevie isn’t on the team page, but he still has a million colorways of two different variations of his shoe for sale on their store page. Also John Gardner is still on the team page even though he’s technically not in the team anymore since he was bumped to TM.

Also in a recent interview, John Gardner said T-Funk was the hardest to deal with on the team. Maybe that had something to do with him leaving.

T-Funk is Dennis the Menace and The Problem Child personified... I wouldn't expect him to be anything less than terrible.

I met T-Funk and a bunch of the other Independent team last summer and T-Funk stood out as the biggest douche. Honestly Pedro was literally the only guy on there who didn’t act like a pompous asshole.

So what’s the retail move here? Every colorway of his shoe hit sale racks. Do they pay you to take them?

I don’t get the issue.  It’s not like an Anthony Davis Pelicans jersey.   Is it that hard to sell a shoe if the rider doesn’t ride for them (assuming there’s no contractual reason they cant)

Being on Vans would be sick and make more sense.

However, I wish they would officially put on Austyn & Jerry.
