You know what I don’t even mind pink she always seemed like heart was in the right place apart from all the pop songs and general kookiness that’s sick she can skate a little
[close]

Pink sings at her concerts and her song “trouble”
Was written by Tim Armstrong of rancid (or lint of operation ivy).  She’s fucking rad.

Pink did a great collab album with Dallas Green from city and colour and Alexisonfire who’s also an avid skater . I don’t know how much he skates now but I remember and interview with him talking about how he doesn’t skate on tour because of injury with him being a guitarist.
PINE 2009, 2010, 2011, 2020, PINE STILL MAKIN' MONEY.

Rich the kid skates, definitely seen a bunch of clips of him on IG and whatnot. his style kinda doodoo though.
MadeinTYO has song where he says "ollie a 10, kickflip a 8, nigga i skate" so i assume he skates.
Gus Dapperton skates if you wanna count him as a "celeb"

These two lyrics just popped into my head:

Joe Jackson - I'm The Man

Kung fu
That was one of my good ones
Well what's a few broken bones
When we all know it's good clean fun
Skateboards
I've almost made them respectable

Full lyrics: https://songmeanings.com/songs/view/108247/

Pavement - Range Life

Run from the pigs, the fuzz,
The cops, the heat
Pass me your gloves, there's crime
And it's never complete
Until you snort it up or shoot it down
You're never gonna feel free
Out on my skateboard
The night is just hummin'
And the gum smacks are the pulse
I'll follow if my walkman fades
But I've got absolutely no one,
No one but myself to blame
Don't worry
We're in no hurry

Full lyrics: https://genius.com/Pavement-range-life-lyrics

Joe Jackson's aint much, but Pavements nine words (Out on my skateboard
The night is just hummin'
) and sound captured skating at night by yourself really well imho.

Anybody know anymore? (Except for usual suspects such as skatecore bands or whatever they're called and of course Johnny Rad from Animal Chin.)
fun fact, range life is about pavement getting kicked off of a smashing pumpkins tour

Stretching it a bit to call Leo Fitzpatrick a celeb.  If we’re going to pull from that pool of mid00s Max Fish patrons, James Ransone (ziggy sobotka) has a fuller filmography

There’s some actor/comedian who skates with the Worble guys. He’s not Mull-brothers good, but he’s definitely a legit skater - the type that anyone here would recognize as a solid skate rat. I first heard him on Marc Maron’s podcast, his name is on the tip of my tongue. Anyone?

Edit - Whitmer Thomas, who even has a piece in Jenkem

I would have to say The Beastie Boys, Talib Kweli, and Big Boi

"My rhymes turn a new page like Mark Foley
And touch kids like when Larry Clark gave the part to Chloe
Rest in peace to Harold Hunter, the greatest from New York
Started out skatin for Zoo York
Word hangin out at The Gavin, I was very lucky
To talk to Rash' once I got past Derek Dudley
Got him on "Respiration", that's pre-Badu
Bet you Garnett Reid got a Matt Doo tattoo
Sometimes I feel like I'm drownin I gotta tread water
Head above the water I always remember Headquarters"

this would be so awesome if true. Steve Nash is a legend - can any AZ slappers confirm/deny?

recently saw that Emile Hirsch from Into The Wild, Dogtown movie, and lots of other stuff skates?

also has a Muska deck and can't keep his shirt on while he skates lol

and apparently rocks Lynxs like a 5th grader whose mom tied them up tight before going to school

People from that downtown New York City scene in the 1980s  and 90s were  in-touch with skaters.... The Tunnel had a damn mini ramp....when serato video came out,  i talked to DJ Jazzy J about skaters, DJs , and rap.... so many east- coat skaters and producers  are connected

Joe Jackson,"I'm Stepping Out".... It's interesting the link between music and skating.  I think Zoo York Mixtape  is one of the best examples .... 🎶 get into a car and drive to the other side 🎶

Probably been mentioned already but J Mascis is pretty good at skating, there was a music video for a dinosaur jr song were he was skating around, was actually pretty cool.
He's also literally in Mind Field. Omar Salazar's part is almost a Dinosaur Jr. music video. He was also friends with Neil Blender at some point back in the day, no idea if they still are.

Switch heel or mirrored clip? And ya, dudes a piece of shit for sure for what he did.

Steve Nash definitely skates. There was some documentary type film on HBO or something showing him carving around a park in AZ. Think it was a cruiser board tho but whatever. Heard something about eventhough he has a contract stating he obviously can't skate he does it anyway but tries to keep it on the d-low.
