Anyone tried that 7.75 wknd?  Wondering if it has the big ps nose or if it is more standard popsicle.  Or is this one bbs?

When I bought my current deck I was deciding between a KrooꞰed and a WKND, I bought the KrooꞰed but the fact I was even considering the WKND means it definitely didn't have a shovel nose, I don't like shovel nose decks.

Any good recs for 7.75 fairly twin tipped? With like
13” wheel base?

I’ve been eying the Asta VX although it’s an
8” so not appropriate for this thread haha.

Thanks. I’ve been doing this a long time, so I’ve got it down to a science. I shortened the nose to 7.0625", the tail to 6.375” and kept its original 14" wheelbase.

Anyone else not that into the crailtap g001 shape? I want to like it but it’s so long and flat, it just feels weird and uncomfortable to me. I keep on watching Goldfish and get so stoked on it and then I set one up and have a crappy session again and wonder why it would be any different this time around

Op, you ok man? Being real here, you doin alright?

Girl 7.875
Royal low 5.25
Loophole (NFG) 50
Mosaic bearings
Jessup
I have skated a girl deck 8" 045 before and i liked it except the steep kicks. This feels the same. I had to put the old royal lows i had coz the pop feels easier than with the other trucks i have. Do someone know any mellow tail and nose 7.75-7.875 decks that are kind of short (31-31.5). I have tried HLC low concave decks and they feel fine but are a bit on the longer side at 31.6-7. I have searched for mini logo but everything i can find in europe is birch. It is kind of a struggle to find a comfortable deck, or i should buy some low and short wb trucks idk.

I think Aimu Yamazuki and Sora Shirai skate venture lows (at least it looks like they are). PJ was on lows for years too but just recently switched to high v-hollows if I remember right

Speaking of which, I found a 7.75 Enjoi deck on sale for $20 and set it up with Thunder 147s and 52mm spitfire classics. It seems like most people prefer Venture lows over Thunders though. Is it worth switching trucks?

Can we include 7.87 rydaz as well?

Polar has been my go to brand for the past couple years, one of the few companies that makes my favorite board size.

i remember a fair amount of boards coming in 7.88 back when. i coulda/shoulda used those more often, as id generally skate well on them, and then go back to looking for a 7.4 or what have you.

anyways, the 7.81 eagle is also a great shape.

@TheLurper here is my forever question with setups in this size range: what size trucks?
