rebuild the berrics
« on: September 28, 2020, 02:28:15 PM »
i know that place hasnt been updated in years so i think its time for them to finally change the obstacles.
only reason i dont watch the clips is because i feel like everything has been done and everyone has been there.
any ideas what they should change about it?
has there been any obstacle that has made a comeback in the last 10 years or disappeard like london gaps in the 2000s?
are there any obstacles at new parks you think are overrated these days?

Do people still care about the berrics? I feel like they fell off hard when they moved to the new facility.
Up until then, they had pretty good content that hardly came across as blatant advertising compared to this new bullshit. Now, everything reads as clickbait or some advert for fucking mountain dew.

They should plaster pictures of women with botched plastic surgery all over the floors

Call evergreen.

Evergreen shouldn't be allowed to build skateparks. Everyone with a creative bone in their body went to work for 5th Pocket.

They just play skate man, they don’t need any obstacles.

I miss those giant ramp stickers you would see at SPOT,  Slam City Jam, and those Euro contests. I think they have gone away with skateparks moving towards a concrete design rather than wood/masonite.

Also, launch ramps seem like they are going away.

Really? ok call 5th Pocket. But every Evergreen park I see looks pretty damn good. We have Spohn Ranch running around here.

I had like a 3' antihero eagle at one point but no ramp to put it on, sadly. It was too big for a car window.
ok thanks

I seriously never need to see another stupid ass flatground game of skate for the rest of my life there or anywhere else.  Put a giant full pipe in there.

Can we all agree that this was the worst Berrics design? Like 5 stairsets next to one another that don't go anywhere. So everyone's line is stair trick, ledge trick and flip trick on the hip.

that looks like it would be a fun park for pretty much any skill level imo

however that quarter pipe leading to the bump over 4 stair was complete dog shit, it gives you barely enough speed to clear that 4

Add strobelights.

Adding fat bill is like a win win lose. The first win is that he probably has never molested anyone with a screwdriver. The underage boys he spends a curious amount of time with in his apartment says otherwise but there is no proof to back that up (I don’t think)

Next we have the second win. This motherfucker is going to be so zoomed in on the faces and ankles of his subjects that you aren’t even going to realize that they’re at the Berrics. You’ll have no idea that you hate what you’re watching!

Lastly, now the lose segment. Although you don’t realize you’re watching Berrics footage, you will realize you’re watching a slow mo clip which is extremely zoomed in on a pimply teenagers face while he probably does a flatground impossible and rides away looking extremely angsty and unsatisfied with his extremely unsatisfying trick.

Oh wait you said strobeLIGHTS?? Ah nevermind. I still mean it though.

They should just demolish it and move everything to the Braille warehouse since they want to be Braille so bad.
