Berra really leaned into making fake spots.

There’s a million and one reasons why I don’t like or watch their videos, but their park design is not one.

It’s just designed like Berra wanted it to look in his head, like a bunch of real spots he’s too chicken shit to skate because they might be too crusty and quarter pipes he isn’t too afraid to drop in on.

Berra is too afraid of getting DDT’d by a guard to ever leave the berrics again.
Well I have like 9 Andy Anderson dated flight decks.

I put together a remodel kit for the Berrics.

Edit: WTF is that match so goddamned big? Or is it just a tiny gas can?

I miss those giant ramp stickers you would see at SPOT,  Slam City Jam, and those Euro contests. I think they have gone away with skateparks moving towards a concrete design rather than wood/masonite.

Also, launch ramps seem like they are going away.

Yeah I miss the old tampa look with all the stickers everywhere. Tamoa used to be cool

Add strobelights.

Adding fat bill is like a win win lose. The first win is that he probably has never molested anyone with a screwdriver. The underage boys he spends a curious amount of time with in his apartment says otherwise but there is no proof to back that up (I don’t think)

Next we have the second win. This motherfucker is going to be so zoomed in on the faces and ankles of his subjects that you aren’t even going to realize that they’re at the Berrics. You’ll have no idea that you hate what you’re watching!

Lastly, now the lose segment. Although you don’t realize you’re watching Berrics footage, you will realize you’re watching a slow mo clip which is extremely zoomed in on a pimply teenagers face while he probably does a flatground impossible and rides away looking extremely angsty and unsatisfied with his extremely unsatisfying trick.

Oh wait you said strobeLIGHTS?? Ah nevermind. I still mean it though.
I meant stroBECK. Big typo, thank you for the correction. But seriously, even he's too "hip" for the Berries, and he gets made fun of 24/7. That place is basically the Braille warehouse now.

Call evergreen.
Hell yeah. Turn it into a three foot tall transition park, with no speed lines, doesn’t really make sense, and is designed for scooter kids.

They should add a really skinny plastic vert ramp.  And a massive wooden euro gap with a huge rail down it, like in those slam city jam contests.

i loved the old park. i think limitation makes you creative. far more fun to see what someone can do out of a good but not perfect park.

i feel like i would start watching the berrics if they had a nice new park and it was less corpo bullshit going on.
if they had a beautiful set of stairs and they would for example get reynolds to fs flip it or a team to session it would get me hyped but right now it feels like they just get random brazilian guy that somehow can do every curb trick and 540 flip lipslide the tiny 10 stair first try. it just doesnt resonate with me.
if there was a guy doing pjwhl part stuff i really wouldnt care.
i miss the battle commanders filmed with vx and all the first try fridays. used to really be fun to watch. and they gave actual attention to a single rider instead of this "must be nice volume 356334" shit

and yo i remember those huge euro gaps and handrails down banks lmao good times. would be cool if they had those 90s stickers on the ramps. i prefer wooden skateparks instead of concret any day

Can we all agree that this was the worst Berrics design? Like 5 stairsets next to one another that don't go anywhere. So everyone's line is stair trick, ledge trick and flip trick on the hip.

Damn... Kenny Hoyle. What happened there??

There’s no way they can afford to remodel. Their ship has sailed.

I actually thought this was one of their better setups. Also, just watched that whole edit and the line you described everyone doing didn't occur once. But it did remind me how good Ryan Gallant is, so that was cool.

To be fair, I do remember a lot of people doing that line, just no one in the video you posted lol
Is there any money in skateboarding film anymore?

I enjoyed berries back when they had that layout with the red hubbas and hydrant gap. Stopped paying attention a while into that gray one, shit started getting too Stephen’d.
