These shoes are butt fucking ugly and I’m seeing ads for them on IG now, and some psycho made a model for them in Skater XL. Who is supporting this? I’d rather walk around my local supermarket upside down with my hands in a pair of Ipath Cats. What the hell is happening?

I keep getting the ads on insta too. They are seriously fucking ugly I don’t get it.
Also, I’ve never seen an ad on anything really and been like oh I gotta cop that.

I just know they're paying ALOT for marketing. I believe if you buy a pair of shoes they plant a tree or something. They're trying to use sustainable materials which is kind of cool to see.
But yeah, wouldn't touch these, they do not look good at all.

I followed them on IG a year or so ago because they were ethical, local, etc. Figured I’d monitor them to see if they came out with anything I was interested in. Ironically what turned me off to them is when they got into skating because of whoever is running their “skate program”.

It's an easy stance to take while "ethically" introducing a new company in the post-capitalist world we skate in.

If general skaters are mad at the big 4 for dumping advertising money into skateboarding just look at how much dough these guys have spent in marketing... massive Berrics banners, adds all over instagram and youtube...free shoes sent to every instagram skater with a decent following. They clearly arent trying to build a team with cohesion. They are clearly trying to capitalize on the skate market. and it fucking sucks to watch happen.

Ever since the Skategoat fake pro party thread that had a link to these things, all my social media and banner ads and shit are for Cariuma.
