I know this is the stalest of all questions on here, but are we really all doing tts in lrab now? I had a bunch of the vulcs before the new sole and was a ten with room in those, and the first run of cm001 i would've had to run an eleven. I'm a 10.5 in everything else except chucks. Should I do 10.5 if i get new ones of these? It is never a width issue either. I appreciate any insight
[close]

I stick to my chuck sizing. I’m a 12 in vans usually but 11.5 in chucks and lrabs

Thanks, I'll probably stick with that for new vulcs🙌

Pontus is gaslighting me into believing I’m 11.5.
My vm001 from drop 5 and cm002 mid from drop 20 fit exactly the same. I wear 12 in every other shoe brand. These are the big boys of shoes.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, can’t get fooled again. I’m sizing down from now on.

I'm curious about getting some. Comfort/foot protection wise what would be similar if you won't mind me asking?

Man, every time I see the cups, I wish they do at least one vegan colorway …

Impish sausage is definitely gonna blow up as a euphemism this year

Someone in the comments on Drop 22 asked if they'll do a vegan cup and LR liked the comment. Maybe theres one in the works.

They constantly like my vegan comments and even give positive replies to DMs, yet nothing ever comes to fruition. Still only getting canvas/cord VM003's.

That’s a great question. I really haven’t worn anything but shelltoes / LRABs in the past couple of years they don’t remind me of any adidas…but I do think they are a solid middle ground between a puffy shoe and a slimmer vulc shoe. Really comfortable, can’t speak on the protection because I haven’t skated them yet.

That’s wild. I got the same pair and they are not tts for me. Can I ask what size you wear?
I’m a 12 In everything except lrab. Wondering if the sizing gets wonky in a certain range.

There goes my fucking theory. I just suffer from dumb foot I suppose.
Enjoy them. I love skating them. They feel very different from other cup soles and pre-cloudycush vm001s

I just noticed there is a CM003 now! From the site:

"CM003 adopts the slightly wider fit of the cupsole while maintaining our signature snub-nose slim silhouette - a retro futuristic look effortlessly compatible with a multitude of scenarios in your life. CM003 has a lightly padded collar and features our "cloudy cush" insole for all day comfort. "

i've been eyeing the mids for a while and @MOE SYZLAK finally put me over the edge. I have the CM002 Lows and they're insanely comfortable. @FunnyBunny also copped a pair and put me on them, can't wait to skate them.

Really feeling the look of the CM003, might have to give them a try. Unfortunately the handful of pairs of LRAB vulcs I've tried have never quite worked for my feet

@moonordie I have always been a 12 in LRABs which is a size down from my "normal" size. I wear a 12 in converse but a 13 in New Balance, Nike, Vans, etc. The LRAB insole switch did not affect my sizing the way it did for other people.

I've got a wider foot with really high arches, so my shoe sizing can be really funky but LRAB 12 is basically perfect for my foot. My recommendation for most people is half size down from their usual shoe size *or* whatever size converse you wear.

I’m somewhat interested in them but at 150 we are getting into a different tier. Do they really feel like a premium product? Or just a bit nicer than their other stuff?

I think the price is justified, especially since they aren’t meant/going to be skated and will last a long time.

Materials feel and look nice and the sole is close to a doc. They’re selling their loafer for $125, which I think looks and feels much worse, trying to slap a skate shoe sole on a nice upper. An extra $25 for a nice sole is worth it.

Got me feeling like Mike Carroll 1992 out here

Cross post. Spent the day breaking these in, I will be honest the mids are not as comfortable as the lows for me, but that's mostly due to my foot not the shoe. I have a similar issue with half cabs where they put pressure on the top of my foot.

However, these aren't nearly as bad as half cabs. I've got em laced pretty loose now but I'm really excited to skate them.

Might go back to the green laces but I still had these left over from a different set of CMs, wanted to see how they look.
