What did you bought and what was the amount ( If I may ask ? )

I've pre-ordered some vinyl records way back , and they were released and sent after Brexit was a go...
Had to pay triple the value of the record due to import/taxes

I live in Belgium btw

Are poetic collective BBS?

No, they're from Quarter dristribution. I think that they import decks from china and they apply the transfer heat on Germany.

Oh my... eyeing some Studio boards. Anyone got recent experience with quality of wood, pressing, concave etc? I read that they are made by Control. I have been on bbs for years straight now but this offer is highly tempting.

I get control boards for free, and I'm happy with them or I wouldn't skate them. Maybe not as good as my best bbs decks, but better than my worst bbs decks. They work for me.

wheels and trucks, less than 100 €. but it was said on their website they would pay taxes from the country where it's going, never had any problem.

What did you get

3 Studio and 1 917 Board. I thought of handing some to local kids that I see riding old boards.

how much do you weigh? all of the boards i ordered are control. last board i've broken was a bbs but it had to be defective or something (30 minutes of skating flat and it broke on a tre flip) because they don't usually break on me, before that i broke two snack boards, one was clutch and one was ps stix, both were trash. i weigh about 80kgs, give or take 2 depending on the day.

I had a horrible experience with Titus, they messed a few orders (lost packages and wrong sizes in decks and clothing). Their customer service take ages to answer and they never apologize.

Freedom, Skatedeluxe or Junkyard are way better.

I know a lot of people don't like titus but i have also ordered three times some products that i can not find in bulgaria and didn't have any bad experiences. The one time there was a technical problem with the page and their customer service was very kind and helped me very fast with my order.

I have also ordered a couple of times at titus and the only issue I ever have is the shitty titus griptape with the ugly logo you get with every deck.

Titus have been pretty good to me. Skate deluxe have a sale on too.

These don't even register as sales with me anymore though after the junkyard sale.

Yup, after junkyard any other sale doesn't look like a sale but skatedeluxe have good offer for loophole wheels that i would reccommend if you haven't tried.

Wall Street, ABS, Bud etc are way better than Titus or skatedeluxe... actual brick and mortar shops.

Thanks
Titus has physical shops though but skatedeluxe is some european skateboarding amazon. And just like amazon they largely profited from COVID.
Skatepro is even worse, selling scooters, waveboards, etc.

In this economy i can't blame people for going for the best sales. But hear the consequences
The sad part is that all these sales are the result of excessive preordering and bad reading of post COVID economy. All shops did the same mistake but huge ecommerce platforms went too far. Hence these sales that make no sense.

To keep it short those who made a bigger mistake devalue products (because they don't care) and lure customers out from shops who were smarter but have a way smaller reach.

Enjoy the sales but keep in mind that entities like skatedeluxe and skatepro got rich during covid and will make brick & mortar shops disappear sooner or later

Didn't know Titus has actual shops. Almost every shop has a bargain bin when I was skint that's what I did, or shop boards. Like if your broke it's not going on the wall.

Titus is the oldest Skateshop in Germany, probably in Europe (est. 1978!)
They had always Shops.
Skatedeluxe is acting like a Skateboard Distributor and is doing a good job so far. Just online.

Both are far away from some kind of Zumies/ (Blue Tomato)/ Skatepro etc. only monetising some Kids slush money.

The fatal trend of dying Skateshops started before the last two years, sadly :(

Route one in the UK has a decent sale at the moment and there's a code THANKYOU10 that takes an additional 10% off of everything.

Normally I'm not too phased by this type of deal, but I've just seen that new Limousine and Sci-Fi Fantasy boards are £92, while most others are hitting £80. Half price boards at the old prices are not to be sniffed at!
