Just an email from UPS when the package should/would arrive.

Date was correct, the expected hour not.
My wife ordered some Vans, together with 2 pairs for the kids.

Shipping also with UPS and expected delivery monday. They also suddenly showed up yesterday.

Would not stress too much, as long as you have the confirmation mail from Bonkers?

Yeah I got the confirmed order… I imagine they got quite a lot of orders to deal with. And I actually prefer that they take a bit longer to deliver as I’m not in the country atm to receive the package.  ;D

Was only a matter of time.
After Titus increased the price for Spitfire's/ F4 in Germany. (10 Euros..)
Now the second Broadliner, Skatedeluxe, is doing this price rise too.

Just another reason to support your local SkateShops!

I'll be travelling to the UK (Reading) in January for a work conference, may stick around for a few days to skate some spots. I don't want to check in a suitcase with a deck, I'll so I'll pack my trucks and wheels and get a board shipped from a local shop.

Which are the bigger stores in the UK or EU that can do affordable decks (and other soft goods) and shipping? I'll place the order a week before I arrive so I can pick it up from the concierge when I'm there.

If it's going to be too cold and wet to skate in the UK in early January do let me know too, so I'll save myself the disappointment.

Thanks!

If you’re content with skating indoors I could see it working out for you. How long of a conference is it?

I don’t live there, but I hear Britain and Denmark pretty much have the same climate.
It basically rains/snows about 170 days out of the year.

At my end:
Im too dumb to figure out how to make this drawing my profile pic.

Check this, based in the UK they have some nice deals. The choice is somewhat limited but they have Swiss, Adidas, Indy, Spitfire and in the deck department mostly crap but Anti Hero eagles and the odd good bloard (spotted a passport in a sea of Element). I ordered my bearings there and despite exorbitant shipping and prohibitive customs still saved a decent buck compared to Swiss retail.
why come?

You might get stung for import charges if your in the UK and order from the EU. Plenty of good skater owned shops in the UK. Where are you going? And cold wet is pretty much expected in January

Loads of options if you’re determined. It’s going to be cold though.
Largest/easiest options will be RouteOne or Rollersnakes.
Individual stores across the country include:
Slam City
Welcome Leeds
Bored of Southsea
Decade skate store
Native skate store
Natterjacks

There’s loads more but I’m sick so my brain is cloudy.

Heard of them before, lots of DSM stuff, their decks are pretty well priced so I'll definitely check them out.

Reading is a 30 minute train ride from London, so you should be able to pop up and do some skating. South Bank is undercover, so that will be skateable, and there's a few indoor places you could try; Bay66 being the probably the best. Route One has a shop in central London, or you could order online from them. Slam City are more east, and 3 amigos are slightly north.

I think you mean F51 in Folekstone:

https://f51.co.uk/

It's actually not too difficult to get to from London if you get the fast train from St. Pancras.  An amazing facility that's empty for a lot of the time.

No problem @rocklobster .
On wolf v hawk, Rodney Mullen said he goes skating in the rain at night in London, and when I he talks about it, it sounds like its very cool. Never done it  myself though.
