Respect. As someone from Canada I can honestly say I have wasted hours of my life on that thread. I think I like seeing other people spend money on things I want at a lower price. America has some fucked up deals.

Posted the finnish site because it's english + euro prices but sale should be on every vans site.

First vans shoes in quite some time for me, figured for 30-50 % off i won't be too mad about the sole disappearing after a month.

Where do you guys live? I go buy my plain white tees from the little old lady that owns the local underwear shop in the city center here in Italy. €10 a pop, 100% cotton, top quality, last forever. Prior to that I was buying from Merz B Schwanen but those cost like €60 and they're always out of stock.

EDIT: This is the company that the local shop gets their blanks from... The quality is very nice. I will see if they allow personal orders as soon as the website is updated.

There's pretty good deals on the Vans European site right now: Rowans, Lampins and Sport for 32 Euros with the welcome 20% off.

Looking forward to see some good deals, hardgoods prices are insane nowadays...

I had a look on nike finland and the shoes were 65€ but there’s an additional 25% discount for nike members… so it looks like I just bought some bruin reacts for 49€ 😅

I hope they are not narrow, I’ve never tried them on. The colorway I do like, even though I have been pretty exclusively skating black shoes for the most part

I just bought the DC Chris Cole shoes at this eBay store for 35 euros, LOL.

https://www.ebay.de/itm/265213836668

The actually have a lot of good offers for older shoes. It‘s got good customer Service, too. Tho owner is Mehmet Aydin a German skate legend from the nineties.

UK would be good if you`re in the UK, otherwise you have to pay tax on products below 150€ and tax + duty on products over 150€. In Austria you have to pay 20€ tax on all imports from third countries since the 1st of July. So keep that in mind when ordering from outside of the Union.

I used to order almost everything from uk but nowadays is not worth anymore.

In Spain not all the packages go through customs but if they check yours it's 20 euros for the process + 10-15% of the value of the shipment.

Semi off-topic… anyone in the UK got experience of buying from the US/EU/CA in terms of duties and taxes?
