There could be an entire thread on this somewhere but what the fuck is up with this thing where melenials land their trick and then consciously do a little "hop" to "reset" their stance.. or whatever the fuck they're pretending to do. Has anyone coined a term for this shit?? Usually follows a staged roll-up face to whatever trick to staged landing. Nothing looks more awkward, self-conscious and depressing. I'm also wondering if anyone knows where or when or whom started this kind of balet curtsy bullshit. Ben Nordburg? Gross enough in videos. Truly grotesque in real life. Tell me I'm not alone here..

Agreed. I also get a bit hot and bothered when I see these soyboy melenials and their ballet inspired reset hops.

Instead of the masculine skaters of Gen X (like BA) who conjured up images of burly American archetypes like longshoremen and loggers,  today's twink skaters remind me more of a teenaged Zenon Zubyk or Joseph Sissens. Watching these slender, hairless young men gracefully execute a tour en l'air in between tricks makes me feel a way I prefer to keep hidden from my wife.  Their long sinewy thighs and pert calf muscles are obscured by today's retro relaxed fitting jeans, but that just leaves something to the imagination as I rewatch the clips over and over again
