Corey Glick on Quasi?

Comments on their posts frequently too. I'm guessing it's just a board swap, but a man can dream.

This would be really sick and a nice segue from the Foundation prank! He’s a Midwest dude and the style definitely is on brand with Quasi.

Would back 100%, but it sorta looks like a visual gag for that Quasi deck having a sorta Foundation-ish logo design on the tail?

Might be my eyes playing tricks but it looks like his deck is cracked at the back truck area. Maybe he was showing them around and broke his board. They tossed him one to keep rolling.

I think they’re just poking fun at the Foundation van theft from the last Quasi video.

Weird fit in my opinion. I agree it’s probably a continuation on the prank from Grand Prairie.

OP man up and call that number in their stories and ask.

Yeah this makes sense. Would love to see him on Quasi. Havent seen much from him since his wallie 270 noseblunt a few years back

When Grand Prairie came out, someone left a comment on Quasi's ig saying "Corey on Quasi" and he liked it. Really hope it happens.

The foundation logo is a moon with a star, obviously a joke post looking like he’s mid calling them out for ripping it off. Foundation hasn’t been relevant for a while so I’m assuming anyone not familiar with the logo is young/dumb. Not your fault....go watch that’s life.

I guess Quasi is better than foundation, only slightly imo, because of how trendy it is and he’d probably move more boards with his name on that brand since the trendy folk love it. Good for him if it happens.

Fucking weird. I just went on a bike ride and saw the Quasi team at the post office. Then Glick showed up, but he’s from Chicago so I didn’t think anything of it.

I would back this. He's too good to be on Foundation. Getting on Quasi would probably help him get on Vans proper too

This part is one of the more memorable parts of the last 5 years and I frequently return to it.

Has he put out any footage recently?

It’s obviously a joke because they stole the foundation board in the Quasi video. He’s “stealing one back”.

With that said, I’m surprised he’s still on Foundation. He’s really out grown them.

He’s fully on vans already, but this is a move I could get behind

I remember a recent foundation ad stated that the new video is called quantumbitchumboobulator.

I know that screenshot was probably a joke but take that Quasi offer if its there, Corey.

Glick looks like Albert Hammond Jr. from The Strokes. Dude puts on a mean live show as a solo act. Turn of the century Indie rock probably isn’t well received on Slap, but that’s fine. The similarities are uncanny.

I don’t think Strokes are considered indie rock by any metric.   I think they get lumped under the 00s rock revival with White Stripes and a bunch of The (thing) type bands in the grand classification of things, or that post 9/11 NY scene with Interpol and Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Haha that whole era of early 2000s garage rock revivalists were lumped categorically into indie (albeit erroneously, in most cases, obviously ). I think a lot of people run the genre title for nostalgic reasons, myself included. Did you ever read Meet Me In The Bathroom? Fun little read if you have a soft spot for that time period of music.

Have been meaning to.  I guess there’s also a difference if you’re in the UK or US.  I used to read NME often enough back then and they referred to all rock as indie that wasn’t selling out stadia
