i'm about 210 or so currently. 40+. im sure i could skate better if I lost a few, but i'm doing just fine. I skate 4-5 times a week, swim laps, jump rope, ride bikes etc.

I literally had a friend i skate with tell me the other day he was "worried about me". This friend is an ex bodybuilder that has been on and off of steroids for the past 25 years and starves himself all day (only lets himself eat for one hour a day). I told him he should be more worried about his own heart giving out than mine.

there's definitely some weird dysphoria with skaters. we're not going to all look like pre-pubescent teenagers forever, and thats fine. I feel better at this size then I did when i was 150.

I always thought Jake Brown, landing an Ollie 7 (looking at you, Cheetahsheets) with his t-shirt flapping over his middle-aged dad tummy was one of the best things ever in mega ramp skateboarding

Lol, that guy's a dummy. Anyway, I weigh more than all of you and I still skate fine. Just gotta avoid fs lip slides and gaps.

Transworld should do a video made exclusively of big guys called "heavyweights". Give it a boxing theme. Someone who has a lot of personality could serve as the Bruce Buffer for the in between sketches. have the skaters remake montages from their favorite fight movies to open parts (rocky, bloodsport, the quest, ong bak, whatever). it would be great. the line up would be amazing.
