Set up some 151 T2s, a couple sessions in so far and really enjoying them. Bushings are still breaking in, rebound isn't quite there yet but getting better and firming up a bit. Have them turned about 1/2 thread below flush and they're definitely loose but not floppy. Also threw them on an older deck with a 14.25 wheelbase, so it's for sure upping the twitch factor. Pop feels pretty Ace adjacent, more like a Classic than a AF1. Grind is comparable to T1/Ventures.
Pivot cups on mine were white vs the ice blue pictured, not sure if that's the same case for all sets. On the subject of the pivot cups, I think that's where a lot of the folks who felt like the T2s were too loose and squirelly were getting their complaints from. These are for sure a softer duro similar to Riptides, and out of the box the turn felt similar to some Stage IVs with Riptides in. It's absolutely an acquired taste, but could explain why these were polarizing at launch in addition to the soft bushings.
One interesting quirk is how much the bushing seat/yoke hangs over the baseplate. Slightly bizarre to look down on. Planning on continuing to skate these, looking forward to how they feel fully broken in and on a board in my preferred 14.5-14.75 wheelbase.
