Ellington is definitely still good enough to put out another part.
Kalis is my favourite though.

Yeah def Kalis.  Rick McCrank is another.   I guess it’s just weird to realize how many of these guys I grew up watching are in their 40s and not just 39+3 if that makes sense

AVE’s on another level still as demonstrated in Dancing on Thin Ice. When Guy or Reynolds drop another full length part (especially with Reynolds’ new lower impact, more manual/ledge-based trick selection which I like a lot) I’m sure they’ll both shoot back up to the AVE tier of older pros in my mind.

I know he gets clowned on here for various things, but Chris Cole’s descent from relevance still blows my mind.  He was skating at such a high level in his early/mid-thirties I really expected him to be someone who would push his progression into his 40’s.  Now he’s disappeared into a sea of CBD and tactical knife ads.  I was hoping the return to Zero would come with a full length street part but that still hasn’t happened…

They all have their differences… but I have to agree they all rip. I grew up skating watching them. I can’t choose.

McCrank is up there too !

They should really do a documentary on the cursed careers of everyone who joined DC when they tried to revamp their brand and use that flag as a new logo with Berra as their brand manager.    Mike Mo, Chris Cole, Darrell, PJ, Wenning (was already on but rose to prominence)

Add Mikey Taylor to that list, mid 2010s DC team was cursed, only Wes Kramer and Kalis got out unscathed.

Darrell, PJ, and Wenning were all off by then. They definitely still fit the cursed narrative though. Don’t forget Nyjah was a big part of that as well.

THIS.  With the exception of perhaps AVE, he for certain is still the most progressive in his 40's.  Always has been the best and always will be.

lulz. I could never get into Chris cole. I know he is so good though. It’s the stiff pole butt style stirred up with the the worst fucking goatee (all goatees are the worst)..but ya…he looks like he has to take a shit while he does the hardest tricks ever..I dunno..I don’t think he is 40 yet.

and yea. Ellington/Mcrank/Guy should def be on this list.

Shit all four of these dudes in a session would be sick.
