I wish he still posted regularly, even if every post was rather difficult to parse and full of “RLP” pillage references (if you can call them that). He got mad into RC cars for some reason but still posted skatijf from time to time.
Honestly with his persona and cocaine being a known theme it is rather surprising how well he seemed (when he was active).

I’ve always been a huge fan of his skating and when he was less fried his personality was somewhat endearing.  I’ve never met him personally but back in the day he had a reputation as being a fun dude. But uh yeah now he’s pretty fried and not in a fun way.

This big black dude who goes to my local bar saw Michigan was playing a few months, saw Jim Harbaugh on the sideline, and said "Jim Harbaugh!" like he was glad to see him. But then he goes "That son of a BITCH!" and for some reason, it made all the sense in the world and no sense at all.

Also, I love when skaters' favorite skaters are random like Smolik's. I remember Roberts asked Antwuan Dixon who his favorite was, and he responded that it was Gailea Momolu, like there was no other possible answer.
