Can someone explain the difference between the Ambition Jib, Team, and Pro Models? For reference I am older and will not be using these for handrails or hucking. Mostly just screwing around with curbs, ledges, and flatbars, and other skatepark stuff. Would like to be able to flip it as well.
- Pro shapes are a little more custom (blunt vs round kicks, different length and widths) with some concave on the grip.
- Team shapes are consistent with each other and flat concave opposed to Pro (and “blanks” opposed to the pro graphics).
- Jib seems less flip trick, more riding and hittin ride on grinds and shit. Haven’t seen one in person but those kicks look steep as hell.
I’d go with team for your first. Pro concave may help more with something like 360 flips, but I can comfortably do a small bag of flip tricks over gaps, entertain flatbars and mellow rails, slappy curbs, and hit ledges just fine on the team model. Pinchless crooks are funny. That x-grip shit is pretty crucial though.
I smoked my ulnar nerve and ankle ligaments bombing a hill on a snowskate, don’t underestimate em.
