Also, he himself, early on admitted that there was only going to be so much shelf life, in the "hater" schtick in his online personality and how he didn't want to become a lightning rod for all hate & negativity.

To me SLS, Dew Tour, X Games, Olympics is a traveling circus. The only interesting part about contests is watching a skater adapt to the obstacles that they have never skated before. That can be considered street skating. The courses look horrible. I’d rather watch Tampa or Lower Bobs events.
