I am not going to knock on Penny. I saw Penny skating live and I prefer to watch Penny footy but from a purely aesthetic point of view, at least on those photos/ads, Kareem had the better fits and steez. That's what I meant by saying he made skateboarding look good. But again, Penny is my favorite skater of all time and I will certainly not try to change your mind.

i like kareem a lot, but his kf technique, while amazing, was definitely of it's time. there's a few memorable ones where at the point of catching with his back foot, his front foot is slightly below the level of the board and he has to bring it back up and round from the side. looks pretty sick though.

Nobody ever made skateboarding look as good as Kareem, and I say this as a die hard Penny stan. I could care less for these Axion reissues but would pay top dollar for a true reissue of the Duffs KCK‘s, and by true I mean true to the original.
