I just wanna know how shit Vans are for roofing jobs. I only work in cupsoles.

You may be joking but I've worked construction in both. Vans suck, es accel og have been the best. I usually switch shoes about every two months for work when I lace up freshies. But I've had pairs of accel ogs last on jobsites up to 4 months or so before the sole started breaking down and splitting.

Once mud and clay get stuck in there between like the part your foot steps on and the outer cupsole surrounding it they're done. Vans don't do that but are generally uncomfortable and offer zero protection or arch support.

Yesterday I scraped, caulked, and repainted window frames on a 100 year old house and I wore flip flops. The horror.
