Real question - When people talk shit on this dude's "style" do they mean the way he skates or the way he dresses.
I fucking hate that this is even a question these days but that's where we're at I guess.

I'm not a big fan of this guy, but he is undeniably good at skating and has fucking crazy pop and flick.
He doesn't dress the way I would but I've never been one to hold fashion choices against anyone.
I'm pretty sure he has a confederate flag tattoo, that definitely rubs me the wrong way and keeps me from being a fan.

i think i've posted about it here before, but when i used to live in long beach, i used to see cody at cherry all the time. he's the most robotically locked in skater i've literally ever seen. he'd be doing kickflip crooks over and over and over and over and every single one was like a skate 3 trick, it was just perfection. kickflip caught at the apex, crook held perfectly, popped out at the exact same place on the rail every single time. front side and backside, it made no difference. it was mesmerizing to watch.

Being skilled on a skateboard doesn’t equate to likability or being marketable.
Lots of people can do really hard tricks either well or badly, I might gasp or even swear but rarely does it move me to spend my money on product.
It’s a tictoc approach to skating, post crazy vid, get likes and comments, make ad revenue.
I’m sure it’s a lane to be in but no one I know even cares about it beyond sheer shock value.
