I couldn't get into Baekel's part for whatever reason but I quite enjoyed the Winkowski and Wimer sections.

Been waiting for this one for a while now. Wimer and Baekkel killed it as expected. Not really into Winkowski but he had some cool tricks. I didn't like the music but besides that it was a great video.

Who's gonna have parts in the next one Tim?

Liked it more than I thought I would but the comments about Emerica being the new dekline are spot on.

Jeremy Leabres always leaves me wanting more. Is that Victor guy skating again?

Just finished it.  Sick all around.  Baekkel was gnarly.  All of you guys saying Wimer gives off Jon Allie vibes are spot on.  I was thinking the same thing.  Winkowski coming out skating to Death made my weekend.  Oh yeah, and we got more Spanky.

The Spanly tear continues!

Hoban’s kickflip front board was ridiculous.

Wimer rules and Baekkel is a nutcase.

shouldn't

Stoked there was a no means no sing in that! Slam was brutal. Ender was fucked. I enjoyed it. Tempted to set up a Winkowski board now.

I couldn't make it through this...fucking awful all around. The music, the editing, the whole vibe...some good tricks for sure but this brand is so lost. I heard someone say that Emerica is the new Dekline and that seemed spot on but I can't even remember Dekline being this bad.

At what point is the goofy board you ride more important than the trick? Give that man a 8.5 popsicle and see if anyone gives a shit. Wimer has the best flick in the game, spanky rules, and I turned it off after bakkels slam.

The montage was great, hoping for more Leabres footage in the future. Dude has such a good style. Dicksons bs noseblunt was nice. Wish I had a flick like Wimer.

Came here to say this. Had me on the edge of my seat for his whole part. Do a ledge trick my guy, it's ok. You don't need to literally risk your head in every single clip.

super good. i really enjoyed the video. good job emericans.
i am digging the soundtrack very much. that was a nice surprise - jawbreaker, nomeansno ....
i hope they leave those stoner rock days behind them.

baekkel's slam was indeed absolutely crazy.

for the banks next to the sets etc: mostly they are used for pushing your bike upwards/downwards hence they are pretty narrow, no real wheelchair accessibility here, especially if you try to climb one of those banks on your own, not gonna happen.

Well look at that, Leo Romero skated a long, high, gradually sloped rail down a long handicap ramp, what are the chances?!

But honestly yeah the video was pretty entertaining.  Spanky is quietly having an all-time great year of professional skateboarding that I think will be looked back on very positively.

Are those banks next to the triple set stairs Baekkel skates outside the U.S. supposed to be for wheelchair access? That would be a heavy wheelchair bomb if that's what they're for.

I asked this on #skatetwitter earlier this year after some other Euro-centric edit that was full of them and someone replied that they are for baby strollers and wheeled carts and luggage. Which sort of makes sense, but then I imagine every once in a while some baby is going for a wild ride by accident. Bikes makes more sense.

Either way, I declare we should refer to them as "Euramps" from now on.

edit: one of the wildest slams i've ever seen
The 360 Shuv that Wimer does around 8:57 is probably the best one I've ever seen.

I'm a massive Emerica fanboy but wasn't that stoked on THIS or Emerge. Thought this was really good though, will definitely get some rewatches. I always tell myself I'm not a fan of Winkowski but then end up enjoying his parts more than I think I will.

That's gotta be a contender for one of the worst slams in the video ever

Didn't Chris Wimer do that flip back smith on the UCI hubba already? I swear I saw him do that in a welcome clip or something

Yeah i thought that seemed familiar too.  I think it happened in a video where it was kickflip backtailed as well.  I remember both BA modus tricks had been flipped into

Definitely more for getting your bike up or down while walking the stairs. I really can't imagine using those for strollers. And they are way too steep to be safe, especially in countries with safety regulations and standards. Never saw such ramps in Germany in public

Erick was on welcome way back and has always skated shaped boards, I believe he talked about liking the old cruz missle concave NHs uses on reissue decks because it’s so flat.
And yes I feel the 80’s shape adds to his aesthetic and mystique, it’s not for everyone and it helps him stand out. Plus it’s very on brand for Santa Cruz.
If you’re not into him watch the 8365959 other skaters out there with similar bags of tricks doing tail slide kickfip out and move on.
